Synopsis
In a world where forgotten technology and ancient darkness lie buried beneath the silence of history, Luo Shen is just another invisible teenager—bullied, weak, and orphaned. Until the day he’s hunted. Ambushed in a lonely alley by professional assassins, Luo’s blood stains the pavement. But just as death reaches out to claim him, a phantom interface appears before his eyes: > SEAL 1: UNLOCK? With a single whispered word—“Yes”—his fate shatters. Now awakened by a forbidden power that once ended civilizations, Luo becomes the host of a long-lost darkness… and something more. A system designed by his own hands—when he was just a child and no longer human. Hunted by enemies he unknowingly hired. Haunted by memories sealed away. And empowered by the fusion of an ancient darkness and a god-tier neural chip, Luo walks the thin line between a boy seeking answers… and a monster no one can stop. In the shadows of the city and across the timelines of a broken universe, a war is reigniting. And Luo Shen is both the weapon—and the trigger. > The system has awakened. The seals are breaking. Death was just the beginning.

"DarkSync: Shadow Protocol"

Part 1: The Whisper of a Dead System

First Half: The Target Is Confirmed

---

Prologue: Year 2050 — The Silent Night of Genesis

> Location: Blacksite Research Facility, Orbit Sector 9, Earth-Luna Axis

A single light flickered in the vast subterranean lab, casting long shadows on the pale, sterile walls. The only sound was the rhythmic beep of heart monitors, faint against the low hum of power cells. In the center of the chamber floated a child, no older than six, suspended in a vertical containment tube. Wires crawled across his skin like black veins. Tubes inserted deep into his spine and neck. His eyes were closed, face calm.

But inside the observation room, chaos brewed.

"His body's rejecting it! His brain is overheating—rapidly!"

"He's... still alive? How? That should've melted his cortex!"

"The chip is... it's adapting? No—it's synchronizing!"

The researchers, in pristine suits marked by logos of a long-forgotten federation, circled around holographic panels. A faint glyph blinked in red on every screen: UNKNOWN ENERGY INTERFERENCE.

A courier burst through the chamber door, breathless, holding a sealed cryo-container.

"We found it! The relic—the crystal from Mars-Theta ruins—it's emitting the same frequency as the chip!"

One of the scientists looked up. "Bring it closer. The chip is... resonating."

The dark crystal was unlike anything they'd ever seen—matte black, hexagonal structure shifting like it was alive. As it was brought near the containment tube, the air cracked. A static pulse discharged through the lab.

Then everything went silent.

The crystal disappeared from the container.

All lights died for three seconds. When emergency power returned, the boy's eyes were open—black, glowing faintly violet. He was awake. Calm. Watching.

Moments later, the facility turned red. Screams echoed through the metallic corridors. Every camera feed turned to static. Blood painted the laboratory floor.

Not a single soul survived that night.

The boy vanished.

"DarkSync: Shadow Protocol"

Part 1 — Seal One: The Moment I Died

---

MC's Perspective

After school, I took the same road I always did.

It's quieter back here—behind the warehouse lot and shut-down factories. A narrow alley. Fewer people. Fewer eyes.

Less noise.

I liked it that way.

My footsteps echoed between rusted fences. The sky was growing darker, orange bleeding into violet.

But today… something felt wrong.

I didn't know why, but the air was heavy. Like the silence wasn't silence—it was watching me.

Then I heard it.

A single step behind me.

I turned fast—nothing.

Still, I moved faster. My hands clenched tight in my pockets. Just walk. Don't think. It's just in your head.

Another sound—metal scraping stone.

I stopped breathing.

> "Target sighted. Proceeding with the hit."

That voice—it didn't come from in front of me. It came from my side.

I spun around—and she was there.

A woman. Mid-20s maybe. Face half-covered. Slim build. Dressed normal. But her eyes? Empty.

And in her right hand—something thin, silver, sharp.

---

Assassins' POV – Female (Codename: Shade)

> He looks like a damn child. Doesn't even know he's about to die.

Easy kill. In and out. No mess. Get the money.

She flicked her wrist. The blade extended fully.

---

MC's Perspective

I stepped back. My chest was tight. My legs wanted to move—but didn't.

> "W-why are you doing this? I didn't do anything to you!"

Two more figures stepped out behind me. One older, heavier build, knife in one hand and something like a stun spike in the other. The third leaned against the alley wall, calm as if this was just a job.

No one spoke.

They just closed in.

---

Assassins' POV – Male (Codename: Rhino)

> Kid's scared. Probably pissing himself. No resistance. Just clean work.

"Don't drag it. End him."

He lunged first.

---

MC's Perspective

Pain tore through my leg. A shallow slice—but enough to drop me.

I fell, hard. Gravel bit into my palms.

Another blow—my ribs exploded with fire. My lungs gave out. I choked, curled, eyes blurring.

I wanted to scream—but my throat locked.

Then… something happened.

The world slowed.

The sound faded. Their movements blurred.

And in front of me—appeared a floating, glowing screen.

It wasn't on my phone. Not AR. Not a hallucination. It was… just there.

A voice—no, more like a thought—echoed inside me.

SEAL 1: [UNLOCKABLE]

Unlock Seal 1?

[YES]

[NO]

---

MC's Perspective

I couldn't move. Could barely breathe. My blood was soaking the dirt. My limbs were cold.

But something in me—moved.

Not my body.

My will.

I looked at the screen.

And whispered:

> "Yes…"

---

Assassins' POV – All

A pulse of dark energy blasted through the alley. They staggered back.

> "What the—what was that?!" Shade shouted. Her eyes darted to the boy, now standing.

His body—changing. Skin darkened at the veins. His back arched unnaturally. Something ancient shimmered behind his eyes.

Rhino grunted. "This wasn't in the briefing!"

> "Abort! Abort—" the third one yelled.

---

MC's Perspective

I stood. My pain… was gone.

The cold? Gone.

All I felt was power. And something else… rage. Not mine, but ours. Me and something else… deeper.

I looked at my hands.

Still trembling, still bleeding.

But I wasn't scared anymore.

I laughed.

Quietly at first.

Then louder.

They hesitated.

I moved.

---

Assassins' POV – Shade

He vanished.

> "Where did he—?"

A hand closed around her throat.

She flew into the wall.

Her skull cracked against concrete. Her body slid to the ground. Motionless.

---

MC's Perspective

The man with the knife tried to run.

I was in front of him before he took his second step.

I drove his own blade into his chest—twisted it.

He gasped. I saw his eyes. The confusion. The fear.

I leaned close.

He tried to speak. Blood bubbled instead.

I let him drop.

The last one—the calm one—he raised his hands. "Wait! We were just hired! We didn't know what you are!"

I walked toward him. Slowly. The shadows curled around me like smoke.

> "Because the client… was me."

His eyes widened.

> "Wha—?"

Darkness surged through my hand.

He didn't even scream.

---

MC's Perspective (Final)

Silence.

Three corpses.

And me, standing in the center, under the fading light.

Breathing steadily.

Alive. But not the same.

The screen blinked again.

But something inside him feels calm—like this was just the beginning.
