Chapter 1 - The New Glo

In a world where demons disguise themselves as people, whispering lies, feeding on emotions, and blending into everyday life…

One girl group has a mission:

Shine so bright the demons can't hide.

They call themselves TNG—The New Glo.

To the world, they're just an edgy, rising K-pop girl group with fierce visuals, addictive music, and killer choreography.

But behind the flashing cameras and sold-out arenas, they're demon hunters—specially chosen and trained to sense, expose, and eliminate dark entities hiding in plain sight.

They don't just perform.

They purify.

Meet TNG:

1. Zaya – The leader. Sharp eyes. Sharper blade. Can sense a demon from a mile away. Her past is hidden—rumors say she once let a demon possess someone she loved.

2. Rin – The quiet one. Can trap demons in mirrors. She never talks unless absolutely necessary. Has a soft spot for cats…and haunted children.

3. Minji – The firestarter. Her voice cracks glass when she sings high notes—literally. She's wild, chaotic, and fearless.

4. Sae – The strategist. A genius at detecting demon patterns and symbols in human behavior. Never seen without her notebook.

5. Luna – The heart of the group. Healer. Empath. Can draw a demon out of a person's soul with just her hands… but each time, it chips away at her own.

Their latest tour leads them to a city called Iriya, where reports of missing teens and erratic behavior have skyrocketed.

But during their performance at Echo Dome, the unthinkable happens.

A fan gets pulled on stage… and then suddenly levitates, black eyes wide open, mouth stretched unnaturally.

He screams in a language no one understands.

The stage goes dark. And everyone hears it:

> "Found you… Glo reborn… You shine too much. We'll eat that light."

The demon vanishes—but TNG knows it's not over.

That was just a warning.

Sae uncovers something ancient—an archived record of a girl from centuries ago named Gigiana Layne Owens... also known as Glo.

She was the first human who fought back against demons using "light-born" energy.

She disappeared after the final Demon Eclipse, but legends say her energy would return in five chosen girls…

Girls who would shine too brightly for demons to hide from.

Girls like them.

> "We're not just hunting demons," Rin says coldly, her eyes narrowing.

"We're continuing her legacy."

>

TNG goes underground—literally—to hunt a demon infestation in a popular subway mall.

They walk into the shopping center in full glam, pretending to film a vlog.

Behind the scenes, they split into two groups:

Zaya, Rin, Minji face a mimic demon who takes the form of their manager.

Sae and Luna confront a parasite demon that infects people through touch.

The fight is brutal. Their heels snap. Minji's hair gets burned. Rin's mirror shatters.

But they win.

Barely.

A twist nobody saw coming:

A former TNG trainee named Jinri returns… possessed.

She used to be Zaya's best friend.

Now, she dances with broken bones and a smile stitched into her face, leading an idol group of corrupted demon hosts.

They call themselves NOGL—an anti-glow cult girl group.

Their song "Black Bloom" puts people into trances.

> "You tried to glow," Jinri hisses. "But light always casts shadows. And we're what you left behind."

The final battle happens at a televised music festival, with NOGL and TNG both on stage.

As the lights flicker and shadows try to swallow the crowd, TNG sings their newest track: "Light Eater."

But this time, it's not just a song—it's a spell.

With harmonies strong enough to tear through illusions, dance formations that form protective runes, and a final chorus that channels Glo's original power…

TNG burns the darkness away.

Jinri is freed. The demons are banished.

And the world?

It remembers TNG as the group who sang so hard, they saved the world.

Back in their dorm, bruised but alive, TNG gets a fan letter.

It's written in old Shirakawan script.

> "Shine, but never forget why.

Be Glo, not for fame—

But because the world needs light,

And the demons are never far."

They look out at the moon.

Then at each other.

And Zaya smirks, "We've still got demons to hunt.

It's been a week since TNG's legendary performance at the Zenith Festival.

Jinri is recovering under watch at the Secret Division of Supernatural Affairs (SDSA), and the world is still talking about the "light show" that wasn't just special effects.

But Zaya knows better.

> "The demons didn't die. They just changed clothes."

Every day, new threats appear in the form of "Mirrors"—human-looking shells created by demons to manipulate, deceive, and destroy.

Some mirror demons take the shape of childhood friends, online influencers, or even idol fans.

TNG now faces a new rule:

> "Never trust a familiar face."

Luna has a secret.

Every time she heals someone possessed, her body weakens.

Her fingers tremble. Her eyes lose color. Her heartbeat slows.

She hasn't told the others yet.

But Rin notices.

During a rooftop stakeout, Rin quietly passes Luna a piece of candy and says:

> "You don't have to break yourself to fix everyone else."

Luna smiles, but deep down, she wonders how long she has before her light burns out completely.

The next mission comes from a tip: a suspicious rise in disappearances at a performing arts high school in Seoul.

TNG goes undercover as guest mentors, entering the demon-infected halls of Celestia Academy—a school that trains idols and... something else.

The students look normal.

But Sae discovers the truth in a hidden ledger:

Many of the top students died... yet still roam the halls.

Ghosts? No.

Possessed vessels.

And worst of all, one of the students—Yuno, a sweet and shy girl—idolizes TNG... and is slowly being turned into a demon herself.

Zaya is forced to face her past.

During a late-night patrol, she sees a familiar figure—her younger brother, Kairo, who vanished years ago.

He looks older now… colder.

But when she hugs him, she doesn't feel warmth—only emptiness.

> "I'm what your glow couldn't save," Kairo whispers.

"You shine for the world. I burn for the shadows."

Kairo isn't just a mirror demon.

He's become a Rift—a hybrid demon who can open portals and summon illusions of the past.

Zaya lets him go.

She doesn't fight.

And that decision nearly destroys her.

The pressure mounts.

Sae's notebooks are stolen.

Rin begins hearing voices through her mirrors.

Minji snaps at Luna during rehearsal.

Zaya isolates herself.

Sae says it first:

> "We're not glowing. We're breaking."

Their manager suspends their comeback.

They're told to rest—but none of them know how to rest when the world's still infested.

They go separate ways for a few days.

And that's when the real threat makes its move.

While alone, Luna is ambushed by The Hollow Queen—a demon who eats light, hope, and memory.

The Hollow Queen doesn't fight with claws.

She fights with doubt.

> "You heal them, but who heals you?"

She begins corrupting Luna from within, turning her once golden aura into flickering black ash.

Back at headquarters, Rin's mirror shatters on its own.

> "Luna's dying," she says. "Now.

TNG reunites.

They find Luna in a stasis-like state, floating in the sky above Iriya.

The Hollow Queen stands below, whispering illusions to the crowd to make them cheer for her like she's an idol.

> "Light is over. Darkness is the new aesthetic."

But then...

Glo's mark appears.

Not on one of them—but on all of them.

Sae realizes: they were never replacements for Glo.

They are her.

Each of them inherited a piece of Glo's soul.

Zaya has her fury

Minji, her fire

Rin, her truth

Sae, her mind

Luna, her heart

United, they perform a new forbidden song:

"No Light Without Us."

Their voices explode in a harmony so pure it shatters the Hollow Queen's disguise.

Luna wakes up—light restored.

And the Hollow Queen?

Gone, but not destroyed

A week later, while resting at their dorm, the group gets a message.

It's a private video.

A shadowy girl appears, smiling. Her voice is distorted, her eyes white.

> "You think Glo chose you?"

> "I am the original. And I'm taking my light back."

The screen goes black.

Rin turns to the others:

> "The real fight just started."
