Sunday – 7:08 a.m. – Min-Ji's Apartment
Min-Ji opened her fridge to grab milk.
Instead, she found:
A tray of perfectly marinated pork belly.
A bottle of imported strawberry milk with her name on the label.
A tiny post-it note that simply read:
> "Have a sweet day :)"
She blinked.
"…I didn't buy this."
She checked the back.
Butter from France.
Cheese she couldn't pronounce.
A six-pack of banana milk that was not from the convenience store down the street.
Min-Ji took a step back and closed the fridge slowly, like it was a haunted wardrobe.
"Okay… maybe I sleep-shopped. That's a thing, right?"

Meanwhile – Dae-Hyun's Room, 2.3 Meters Away
> [Current Balance: ₩671,940,000]
[Status: Panic.]
[Fridge Delivery to Unit 204: SUCCESSFUL (Auto-stock Enabled)]
Dae-Hyun's head hit the table.
"I didn't mean for the fridge to stock itself!! I just wanted her to have snacks!"
> [Auto-Gourmet Mode: ON]
[Feature: 'Surprise Her With Bacon']
"…What kind of chaotic chef ghost coded this system?!"
He tapped frantically.
> [DISABLE AUTO-RESTOCK]
[ERROR: Cannot cancel delivery. Next drop in 7 hours.]
He groaned.
"She's going to think she's in a horror movie where the killer feeds you before haunting you."
---
1:02 p.m. – Min-Ji's Apartment
Min-Ji stood in front of the fridge with arms crossed.
"I definitely didn't buy twelve packs of perfectly ripe strawberries."
She opened the fridge again.
Now there was a handwritten recipe card with her name on it.
> "Today's Special: Honey Garlic Chicken – Already prepped for you. Just cook it, smile, and pretend someone cares :)"
She narrowed her eyes.
"…Okay. Someone's stalking me. But in a very nurturing way."
She glanced toward the wall… toward Dae-Hyun's unit.
Her expression sharpened.

1:05 p.m. – Dae-Hyun's Apartment
A knock.
Dae-Hyun panicked and dove behind his beanbag chair.
> [SYSTEM: Incoming Confrontation Detected.]
Another knock.
He whispered, "Maybe if I stay still, she'll think I'm not home."
From outside:
"Dae-Hyun. I can hear you breathing through the wall."
"…I breathe loudly when I'm sleeping!"
"You're not asleep!"
"Depends on how you define consciousness."
CLICK.
She opened the door. (She had a spare key. Oops.)
Dae-Hyun yelped. "Ever heard of privacy?!"
She held up a bottle of French juice.
"This juice costs ₩18,000. It's in my fridge. It's YOUR favorite brand."
He looked at the floor.
"…That's… that's not illegal."
"Did you… stock my fridge with gourmet food?"
"No! I mean—maybe! But not in a creepy way!"
She stared at him.
"You installed a magic food fridge, didn't you?"
He bit his lip.
Then whispered: "…It's auto-snack-enabled."
---
5 Minutes Later – Still in His Apartment
Min-Ji sat cross-legged on his floor, glaring.
Dae-Hyun explained everything.
Well… not everything.
He left out the part about getting paid per second of life, the invincibility, and buying half the neighborhood.
He simply said:
"I got lucky."
"I got hit by a truck and… it fixed my karma."
"I have a system that keeps giving me money and occasionally forces me to deliver cheese."
She said nothing for a long time.
Then:
"So… you're like a glitchy fairy godmother?"
He nodded.
"…With budget anxiety, yes."
She sighed, then smiled slightly.
"You're lucky I like banana milk. If it was yogurt, we wouldn't be having this conversation."

That Night – Back on the Rooftop
They sat side by side, sipping juice.
Min-Ji turned to him.
"So… are you gonna keep being a secret billionaire?"
"…It's kind of addictive."
"And what's next?"
He shrugged.
"I was thinking about upgrading the school cafeteria next… and maybe buying a quiet island."
She laughed.
"You really are weird."
He smirked.
"I'm the fridge fairy. Fear me."
