Athilda's pov
He kept going, his touch climbing higher until he reached the most sensitive part of me. He started moving his fingers gently, the same way he did the first time.
The sensation was intense, even through my underwear, I could feel everything. My fingers dug into his back from the overwhelming pleasure.
"You're so wet," he said.
My cheeks burned. I wanted to tell him to stop, to say I was embarrassed. But how could I, when my body clearly had other plans? Our kiss grew deeper, more intense. I knew I should stop him, but I was too weak, too lost in the feeling he was giving me.
Kring! Kring!
A phone started ringing. It was not mine, it was his. But instead of stopping, Enzo kept kissing me. This time, I managed to push him away, I was running out of breath. His eyes looked dazed, and his jaw moved slightly, like he was still trying to catch up with what just happened.
"Answer your phone," I said without looking at him. What the hell just happened? We almost went all the way, again. I felt so ashamed of myself. What is wrong with me? I was so wild… This is not me. Where did the innocent Athilda go? But instead of answering the call, I heard him end it.
"Hey, can we continue?" he asked bluntly. My jaw nearly dropped. Seriously? Does he not even feel the tiniest bit embarrassed?
"You're crazy. Just take me home. I am tired," I said, fixing my clothes and avoiding his eyes as I stared out the window.
My cheeks were burning hot.
"You sure? You really do not want to keep going?" he asked, putting his hand back on my thigh.
I closed my eyes tightly. I did not know what to do anymore.
"Stop. Just drive," I said, coldly, moving his hand away.
"Ah..yeah. Sorry."
Suddenly, he looked embarrassed, like the energy drained from him in an instant.
The rest of the ride was completely silent. Not a word passed between us. Just thirty awkward minutes of driving while the music played loudly in the background.
When we finally reached my home, I removed my seatbelt and fixed myself before getting out.
"Thanks," I said.
"No problem. I am… sorry about earlier," he said quietly, looking genuinely shy.
I could not help but smile a little. Damn. He is cute. And hot. Am I lucky, or what? I mean… he is the father of my future child.
"Let's just forget it ever happened," I said.
Wow, Athilda. That came from you? Forget it? As if you are not going to stay up all night thinking about it and fantasizing.
"Yeah, alright. I will go now," he said with a small smile before getting into his car.
"Drive safe," I told him.
I waited for him to pull away, but a few seconds passed… and his car still had not moved.
I knocked on the window. He rolled it down.
"What's the problem?" I asked.
"Out of gas," he replied with a half-smile.
Oh no.
"There's no gas station nearby. Um, here's what we'll do, you stay here at my condo while we send someone to get fuel."
Really, self? What nonsense are you thinking now? Why are you inviting him into your place? What if something happens again? Part two might happen and boom, twins.
"Is that okay?" he asked, his jaw clenching a little. I stared. That jawline… oh my God. So attractive.
"Fine. But behave," I said.
And you too, Athilda. Behave! You are weak! Do not give in.
"Yeah, of course."
"Come on," I said, walking ahead without looking back.
When we entered the building, I turned to the guard.
"Kuya Guard, where's Kuya?"
"He just went to the restroom, Ma'am. Why?"
"My friend's car ran out of gas." I pointed to Enzo's black Lamborghini. "I was hoping Kuya could help us buy fuel."
"Here," Enzo said, pulling out a thick wad of bills and handing it to the guard.
"Please give this to him when he's back."
"Oh, alright, Ma'am and Sir. I'll let you know as soon as he gets the gas," the guard said.
"Thank you. Let's go," I said, walking ahead. We did not say a word to each other until we reached my unit. I entered my passcode and the door clicked open.
"Are you hungry?" I asked him.
"Nah." He looked around the building, taking it all in. Then he turned to me. "Do you live here alone?"
"Yeah… Want some water?" I offered. He nodded, so I quickly walked to the fridge to get a bottle.
When I came back, he was already sitting on the couch, scrolling through his phone.
"Here's your water," I said, handing it to him.
"Thanks." He took it and drank.
And oh my God, I could not help but stare at his throat as he swallowed. That movement, that Adam's apple, why was it turning me on again? I had to get a grip. This was not me. I was acting ridiculous.
After drinking, he casually wiped his lips with his tongue and then bit his lower lip. I looked away immediately. Why am I even staring at him like that? Snap out of it, Athilda!
"Um… I'll just take a quick shower. You can turn on the TV or do whatever you want. Feel at home," I said in a rush before heading straight to my room.
I grabbed some fresh clothes and laid them on the bed, then reached behind to unzip my dress, but I could not reach it.
"What the…" I groaned, trying harder. I stretched in all directions but still could not grab the zipper. After several failed attempts, I gave up and collapsed onto the bed with a loud sigh.
Knock. Knock.
"Hey Ath, are you okay?" I heard him ask from outside the door.
"No," I admitted.
Since he was already here, and the damage was done anyway, I decided to swallow my pride.
I opened the door and peeked out.
"What's wrong?" he asked, clearly confused.
"I can't unzip my dress," I said, pouting a little from the frustration.
"Let me help."
I turned around, and he slowly pulled the zipper down.
Goosebumps erupted all over my skin, even though it was just a zipper, the way he did it made me shiver.
"Done," he said simply, and when I turned around, his eyes were soft and warm.
"T-Thank you," I murmured, my throat suddenly dry. Why did he affect me like this? Was it because I still had a crush on him, even after everything that happened? No. No way. My heart was off-limits now. Stone cold. No feelings here.
"Next time, you have to pay me for helping. A kiss would be enough, though," he said with an innocent smile, but his jaw tightened again, and damn, he looked so fine when he did that.
"What?" I said, pretending not to hear him right. My brows drew together in disbelief.
"Just kidding, baby. Go enjoy your shower," he added before walking off like nothing happened.
Did he just call me baby? Is that a sign? Are we about to have part two of that moment?
No. Absolutely not. I am not drunk this time. I have no excuse.
"Ugh!" I slapped my cheeks and shut the door, locking it behind me.
I took off my dress and headed straight to the bathroom. I stayed in the shower for over 30 minutes, trying to clear my head.
When I came out, I could hear the rain pounding outside. It was pouring hard.
I changed into black pajama bottoms and a pink shirt. Simple, safe, nothing sexy. I hurried out of the room, he might be getting bored out there.
When I came out of the room, I saw him lounging on the couch, watching NBA highlights like he owned the place.
"Hey, Enzo. The rain's pouring hard. What's your plan?" I asked, arms crossed.
"There's a flash flood warning. The streets are already flooded," he said casually, glancing at me. And of course, his perfect jaw moved again, then his eyes scanned me from head to toe.
My heart skipped. I tried not to react.
"What? How are you going to get home then?" I asked, alarmed.
He shrugged, eyes glued to the TV again. "It is not safe to drive during a flash flood," he said, voice a bit hoarse, but still with that boyish grin as if he was not bothered at all. I got the message. He is staying. And I could not blame him, it really was dangerous out there. I let out a quiet sigh. I had no choice either. I was not heartless enough to send him out in that weather.
"Maybe… you should sleep here for the night?" I asked, hesitating.
What are you saying?! Seriously, self? Did that just come out of your mouth?
Enzo slowly turned to look at me, his lips twitching like he was trying not to laugh.
"Are you inviting me to stay over?" he asked, his tone playful.
"I mean, just for safety. It is not like you can leave anyway," I replied quickly, trying not to sound awkward.
He leaned back, clearly enjoying himself. "Well, if you insist."
Oh no. What did I just start? Now he was staying. This better not turn into something dangerous, like part two of earlier. Or I am doomed.
