Synopsis

In a world where revenge shapes empires and destroys bloodlines, Matulo—a yellow stickman from the planet Ghost Archipelago—dared to break the cycle. Born into a tyrannical dynasty, raised by a sadistic mother who tortured green children in the name of honor, Matulo chose the darkest and most solitary path: that of rupture.

After murdering his own mother by poisoning her medicine, he turned against everything she stood for. Now, as the self-proclaimed Reaper of Vengeance, Matulo hunts murderers, torturers, and fanatics who keep alive the ideology that destroyed him from within. Neither heroes nor villains are safe—only those who have abandoned the desire for revenge can escape his silent judgment.

Matulo: The Trial of the Green Blood (Chapter 1)


Matulo was born in the mountainous province of Shiq'Toor, on the planet Ghost Archipelago, into the influential An dynasty. His mother, An Yu-rim, was a feared and sadistic matriarch who was known for her obsessive belief in revenge as an instrument of power. Her specialty was kidnapping green children from rival families and subjecting them to horrific torture—sometimes in front of her own children, Matulo and his sister, An Ga-eun.


While Ga-eun grew up idolizing her mother and became her natural successor, Matulo developed a deep disgust for it all.  The constant cruelty and the cult of revenge broke him from within, leading him to a dark conclusion: revenge is not justice—it is a disease.


When An Yu-rim fell ill, Matulo took advantage of her weakness to poison her medicine. The crime was never officially discovered, but Matulo carries the burden of secrecy, knowing that his sister will find out sooner or later.


Matulo believes that revenge is the source of all wars, genocides, and moral collapses in the Ghost Archipelago. For him, the only way to heal the planet is to eradicate all the symbols, followers, and systems that perpetuate this cycle. Therefore, he calls himself the "Reaper of Revenge"—not to punish evil, but to purify the world of it.


An Ga-eun, his sister, now leads the Dead Mother Dynasty and is unaware of the truth behind Yu-rim's murder.  When he discovers Matulo is responsible, he vows to destroy everything he represents.


The Gray Stickman Government views Matulo as an unpredictable radical. Although they themselves are hunting the Red Stickmen for political reasons, they do not tolerate Matulo's actions—he murders all who feed on the cycle of revenge, whether heroes or villains.


The Red Stickmen—once warriors of revenge—are now targets of both the Gray Government and Matulo. The latter exterminates them one by one, not out of hatred, but out of philosophical conviction: they represent the vice he swore to eliminate.
