That night, Ainur waits near the old watermill—her bag packed, scarf tied, and heart made up.
Arman is supposed to bring the motorbike.
But he doesn't show.
Minutes pass. Then hours.
Then… the police arrive.
OFFICER:
"Ainur Serikkyzy?"
She gasps.

"Your father filed a missing report. You're to be escorted home."
Dana watches from a distance—arms crossed, smirking under the moonlight.

Arman had made it to the edge of the road when two men grabbed him—hired by Dana, bribed to keep him away.
He's thrown in the back of a truck and driven out of the village limits.

Back in her room, locked in again, Ainur clutches the ring in one hand, and the fake report in the other.
She finally tears the report in half. She doesn't believe Dana.
