Chapter 15 - Chapter 13: In the Dream of Stone

The first dream came the night after the trial.

No voices. No screams. Just stone.

Hogwarts, but not. Its halls were older. Bleached white with salt and magic. The torches burned blue, and shadows didn't fall the way they should.

Harry walked barefoot, wandless, but not afraid.

Somehow, he knew the way.

The Door That Shouldn't Exist

He passed a classroom made of mirrors. A corridor that curved downward, forever. The air grew colder.

Then he saw it.

A door — black stone, carved with runes. Different from the Chamber. Older. Hungrier.

His hand rose. The mark on his palm pulsed softly.

The door opened.

Inside: a library.

But not books.

Memories.

Bottled, glowing, whispering.

And in the center, a stone pedestal.

On it — a mirror.

But not the Mirror of Erised.

This one didn't reflect what he wanted.

It reflected what he would become.

The Vision

Harry looked.

And saw himself.

Not in Slytherin robes — but something darker.

Green magic spiraling around him. Eyes glowing faintly. Students below him… not following, but kneeling.

He turned from it.

"No."

A voice answered from the shadows of the room.

"You cannot refuse what remembers you."

Waking Up – With a Scar

Harry jolted awake.

His palm burned.

He looked down — a new symbol had appeared. Faint. Smaller. Intertwined with the original mark.

Not a punishment.

A key.

Breakfast – Silence and Smoke

At the Slytherin table, no one spoke to him.

Except Draco.

He slid a note under Harry's plate.

"You went somewhere last night, didn't you?""The mark's changing again."

Harry scribbled back.

"I think there's another door."

Draco's reply came fast.

"Then don't open it alone."

End Scene – Whisper Beneath the Bed

That night, as Harry tried to sleep again, a voice curled beneath his bed like mist.

Not Riddle.

Not the Chamber.

This voice was older.

Female.

"You are not the first child the stone has chosen.

But you may be the last."
