Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The Celestials' Defeat (Part 2)

"What immense energy fluctuations! Thankfully, the Zodiac warriors are reinforcing the Asgardian barrier. Without them, Asgard might have been reduced to ruins," Queen Frigga murmured, feeling the impact on the barrier.

A shiver ran through her. The sheer force of the energy would have left her gravely injured or worse if she had faced it alone.

The Zodiac warriors exchanged glances, their eyes filled with awe and fear. Each felt the overwhelming power reinforcing the Asgardian barrier. Facing such might would have meant instant annihilation.

"Crystal Wall!" Della's face was ashen. Although Odin bore the brunt of the destructive force, the residual energy was still overwhelming. He hastily conjured the Crystal Wall once more.

Odin maintained a focused expression, unwavering despite enduring the direct impact of the destructive power. His golden divine energy began to overpower the Celestials' destructive force, forcing them to retreat.

Relentless energy waves battered the Crystal Wall, causing it to fracture. Della grew paler, nearing his limit.

With a sound like shattering glass, the Crystal Wall broke. Yet, with a flutter of his wings, Della teleported above the Celestials.

"Galaxy Star Burst!" Della ignited his small universe, channeling divine energy throughout his being. A torrent of stars surged towards the Celestials. Though not overwhelmingly strong, it tipped the balance.

The golden energy overwhelmed the red destructive force, freeing Odin to change tactics.

"Father! Use all your strength! Even if you can't kill them, you must inflict severe damage on the Celestials. Otherwise, this battle won't end, and Asgard's barrier won't hold!" Della urged, casting a worried glance at the barrier, now wavering.

Under the relentless energy assault, the barrier warped, on the brink of collapse. Della anticipated its failure.

"Alright," Odin sighed, channeling his divine energy into Gungnir.

Renowned as the Nine Realms' supreme weapon, Gungnir's absolute penetrating power began to shine! Lightning crackled along its length, illuminating the starry sky.

"Gungnir is incredible!" Della marveled. Asgard boasted many artifacts, but few were as legendary as Gungnir. Witnessing its full power left him in awe.

Its current might could easily pierce through the lineup of the solar system's nine planets.

"Impossible! Asgard wields such an artifact?" The Celestial sensed a mortal threat. Gungnir's lightning was a deadly beauty, setting off alarms within.

"Is this a World Tree-forged artifact? Perhaps I should prepare my own," Della mused, realizing the immense boon such a weapon could provide.

"Boom!" Odin advanced, each step seemingly freezing time. Divine energy and lightning halted in the starry sky.

Gungnir flew from Odin's grasp. In a blink, it appeared at the Celestial's chest, cutting through space itself.

"This can't be!" The Celestial, a god of cosmic creation and destruction, found its natural armor and destructive power faltering before Gungnir.

Yet, Gungnir pressed forward, an epic clash between gods.

"The Celestial can't hold on!" Della's eyes widened. The Celestial was failing. The universe's observers, too, were astounded by Gungnir's might.

The Celestial armor, a coveted cosmic metal, was breached.

After a tense moment, light pierced the Celestial, Gungnir shattering armor and divine power, leaving a void in its chest.

Odin demonstrated his capability to slay a Celestial.

Struck by Gungnir, the Celestial's aura rapidly declined, its destructive power dissipating, leaving meteorites vanishing into nothingness.

"I never imagined Asgard's God King wielded such power!" the Celestial admitted, acknowledging its defeat, a crushing loss.

Had Odin not restrained himself, the Celestial would have been obliterated, reduced to cosmic dust.

The God King's prowess was formidable. Even the Celestial's supreme Arisem might struggle against the Aesir's God King.

The Celestial understood Odin's message: he sought no conflict with the Celestials, only defending Asgard from destruction.

Should Odin and Della slay a Celestial, at least three would be needed to subdue them without losses, not accounting for Asgard's forces.

Even if the Celestials could suppress Asgard, the cost would be steep, risking the deaths of their own. Given the difficulty of Celestial births, risking lives was unwise.

"You have earned the Celestials' respect with your strength. This matter is settled," the Celestial declared, giving Odin a meaningful gaze before departing the galaxy, space rippling like water.

Odin exhaled deeply. This battle was one of his most challenging since ascending the throne.

"We've won! Asgard's God King is truly formidable," many observed, watching Odin with Gungnir, fear in their hearts. Few believed themselves stronger than Celestial armor.
