A frail-looking young man with pale skin and dark circles under his eyes was comfortably sitting on black couch in only the tv's light.
Before starting watching a news channel he was playing a video game for the last 12 hours.

Pressing the remote's button Lewis shut off the tv and reporter, enveloping the living room in dark silence.
Sliding his back he slammed his right shoulder on the couch and placed his legs into it, laying down comfortably, he muttered. " What the point in the end everyone going to die anyway"
After a few seconds of silence he laughed.'' you are pathetic, this same excuse you made yesterday…, and the day before and before that too and so on, In reality you're the loser who lost in life before even fighting…, just eating, shiting and playing video games, watching some nonsense series, dramas and don't forget to add those erotic things you watched…''
"I'm really pathetic living on my dead parents' money not even earning a single penny until now in life…, scared of monsters, scared of insects, scared to talk with girls and scared of making friends, just laying at home all day, why even i alive!.''

Remembering images of his mom, dad, Lewis fell into a dream world, like he always do in every other hollow night of his life.

His parents died while exploring the Gate.
The First Gate appeared in the world 100 years ago. It was a dark blue portal in the size 110 floor building. Later in time many Gates of different size and colour appeared, connecting this world to other worlds. But one man now known as the smartest man alive found a way to close it. He invented the new energy known as Gamma X with help of crystals that humans found in the first Gate.
And those crystals gave humans supernatural powers by modifying their DNA.
Lewis also had an ability since his parents DNA was modified, though he can only use it for 15 minutes every 12 hours…

Lewis opened his eyes after hearing a loud thunderclap. rubbing his eyes.
''Yawn…'' he sat up. The living room lights up with every thunderclap before becoming dark again.
yawning a few more times, Lewis gazed at his left side from where light entered the living Room.
"THUNDER!!RUMMMƁLE!!..."
'How I forget to close it'
Standing, leaving the couch he walked to the window.
"Thank God, the air wasn't on this side or I have to clean the floor again" he muttered in relief, looking out at wet streets left behind by rain.
On Flash, he looked up at the big lightning web created by thunderclap in the sky.
"So pretty…"
Then the same loud thundering sound hits his ears.
"and Noisy!"
Closing the window he turned around, with just his glance he turned on the light switch and looked at the clock hanging on the wall above the tv.
''4:30, it's too early''
Walking back to the couch he sits down and gazes at laptop, gaming remote, and tv remote on the glass table in front of him. '' I'm not sleepy anymore. let's finish the other half serie…''
He took his hand back before it touched the laptop.
"No.." He shook his head. " If I start watching now, my whole day is gonna be just like every other day,
"What should i do…, damn why it's so hard to do!"
"Ahhh…,you can do it Lewis, it's just for today as I never said that I will do everyday…"
Using his all will he stood up and walked to the bathroom. after freshening up within 20 minutes and eating some energy bars, he wears black hoodie on black T-shirt with black lower and cheap blue sports shoes which he ordered online five months ago.
Then he dash down to stares and lock the door before exiting the House.

As he comes out, the strong chilled wind hits his face while thunderclaps work like music. He starts to run at slow speed.
"This is called discipline even storms can't stop me…, umm, I will came back after touching nearest park"
Running on the empty streets he increased his speed little by little.
In 4 minutes he reached the park, huffing. walking some more with heavy breaths, going away from the tree and everything that was made of metal. He lay down on the cold, soft grass .
'fuck, my stamina is shit'
Gazing at the dark clouds, he smiled. " But it's fun…, from now on I will do it every day."
Closing his eyes, taking long breaths, he enjoyed the fresh air with the pleasant smell of mud mixed in it after rain.
Not very far from Lewis, a couple in their mid-twenties look at him as if he is some kind of weirdo, Since he is lying on the wet grass dirtying his clothes for no reason.
The park is almost empty as it's too early, but still few people who live close to this place are here and Lewis doesn't care about them.
Well, he doesn't care about anyone in this world, as he doesn't know anyone personally or indirectly. He doesn't have any relatives, friends or anyone who cares about him and he doesn't want to have anyone either or at least he thinks so.
"Ah-choo!" He rubbed his Nose. Sniffing a few times.
'I'd better head back before catching a cold.'
"Hh?..Ahhh!!!."
But before he could do anything, the ground beneath him vanished…..
