In a small dilapidated room a weak woman lay on her bed accompanied by her teenager son who sat beside her.
Even without make up a trace of prettiness can be seen from her sickly face. Her face shows uncanny resemblance to her son who sat beside her. He have handsome face and fair skin, his worried expression give him a caring image. He have short and straight brown hairs. His eyes are blue and he is considered tall for his age. He is 172 cm as a 15 years old teenager.
"Raymond my beloved son"
Trace of tears coming out from the corner of the sickly woman eyes. She is caressing her son's right ceek with her sickly hand.
"please forgive this incompetent mom of yours"

"mom we must go to doctor as fast as possible"

Raymond looking at his mother very worried.

Raymond lifted her mother weak body by himself and carry her out of the house to goes to doctor's place.
He is running while carrying his mother in a piggyback position. Running for more than two kilometers while carrying his mother's body isn't an easy task.

But he didn't give up, no matter how tired he is, he didn't give up. His mother is his only relative in this world. Since he was a baby, his mother always showering him with love. Despite her sickly body, she always does her best when it come to him. She was always going all out to care for him disregarding her own body.
"huft...doc..huft...doctor please help my mother, doctor please"
He arrived at the doctor place drenched in sweats and he is out of breath.
Doctor Rian who always taking care of Raymond's mother before, coming out of his place when he saw Raymond carrying his mother.
"wha... Raymond please put your mother into that bed, let me examine her first"
Doctor Rian immediately know Raymond's mother was dead when he try to help putting her down on the bed. But he still let Raymond to put down his mother first to give Raymond some time to rest.
Seeing Raymond conditions, doctor Rian know, Raymond is exhausted and need to have some rest so he deliberately act like he is examining Raymond's mother to delay telling Raymond about his mother condition.
Doctor Rian glancing at Raymond from time to time to check on Raymond condition. After Raymond calmed down, slowly he tell Raymond that his mother was already dead.
Raymond cry and wailing while doctor Rian also very sad and empty in his heart he still trying to clam Raymond down.
Doctor Rian knows Raymond's mother Sarah even before Raymond was born. She comes to his clinic with her husband a lot in the past.
Actually he even fall in love with Sarah at first sight but knowing Sarah already had a husband he bury that feeling deeply in his heart. Only at that time he know that a love can be so painful. But gradually seeing how happy she was with her late husband also make him happy. He was in the state of love that he can be happy as long as the one he loved is happy.
He understand that love can be so painful when your level of love isn't high enough, when your love isn't high enough you are expecting something from that love and that expectation was the one who actually hurt you, not the love. And when your love is high enough you can feel happy by just seeing the one you loved happy.
When her husband didn't come back from dungeon exploration, she was so sad, and its also make him really sad.
Watching Sarah taking care of her baby alone after her husband didn't come back from dungeon exploration really hurt his heart. At some point he confessed his love to Sarah not because he want to possess her, but just to let her know that he have a feeling for her. That's why when he got rejected he didn't feel too disappointed.
After that confession their relationship become awkward for a while but it come back to what it used to be when she know that he is not forcing himself to her.
Watching Sarah poured her love to her son, strangely make him fallen more and more to her. Unknowingly he also treat Raymond as his own child.
He was so proud of Raymond, witnessing how Raymond grow up to be a good and dependable kid filled him with a sense of satisfaction. And seeing Raymond wailing right now really make him want to give a hug to Raymond, but he refrain himself for doing so.
Unknowingly tears coming out of his eyes when he reminiscing about the past.
After Raymond done with his wailing, he is getting up and about to lift his mother by himself.
"let me help you carrying your mother, Raymond"
Doctor Rian offered to help Raymond.
"no I will carry my mom to our house by myself"
"uhm okay, but let me help you taking care of her funeral, so that you can spend more of your times to accompany her for the last time"
"thanks doctor, I will repay your kindness in the future"
"nah, you don't need to think about that, I help you not because I want you to owe favor to me but I help you just because I want to help you, that's all"
Raymond answering doctor Rian while walking outside carrying his mom lifeless body.
"that's the more reason I need to repay your kindness, doctor"
Doctor Rian watching Raymond back getting further and further away from his clinic.
