Chapter 24 - 24

Noah's mates are:

✅ Sam

✅ Max

✅ Silas

✅ Lucien (his first and oldest mate)

---

The energy in the air is suffocating.

Sam, Max, and Silas are all standing in varying degrees of disbelief — the bond with Noah still buzzing under their skin like wildfire. And then, stepping through the shadows, comes Lucien Miller, cool and collected.

He stands beside Noah, not possessive… but undeniably claiming his place.

Sam:

staring at Noah, broken

"You lied to me. You said we were mates — you didn't say you already had one."

Noah:

"I didn't lie. I just didn't tell you everything."

Max:

growling low

"You're bonded to him?"

Noah:

"Lucien was my first. When I was fifteen, he found me. Protected me. Taught me how to survive."

Lucien:

stepping forward calmly

"And I'll continue protecting him. Even if it means tearing down every alpha foolish enough to reject him."

Silas:

"Then what are we? Just pieces of some twisted little empire?"

Noah:

his voice soft, but razor-sharp

"You're mine. Whether you like it or not. This bond—you felt it. That wasn't a choice. It was fate."

Sam:

low, shaking

"There's something wrong with you…"

Footsteps echo again. James walks into the light, arms crossed, eyes unreadable.

James:

"Careful, Sam. You might hurt his feelings."

Max:

glaring at James

"Don't you dare get involved in this."

James:

smirking

"Oh, I'm already involved. I've been involved since the day Noah was born. I protected him from the world then, and I'll keep doing it now — even if it means letting him claim every last one of you."

Silas:

"You're not even his mate."

James:

"No. I'm his brother. And I'm the reason no one has dared lay a hand on him since he came of age. You want to call this twisted? Fine. But make no mistake—this isn't a trap. It's a coronation."

Lucien:

with quiet authority

"You should be grateful. You're not being used. You're being chosen."

Noah turns to face the triplets, his expression soft, yet terrifying in its intensity.

Noah:

"I don't want to hurt any of you. I want to complete you. You're fractured without me. I can feel it. Let me in. Let me claim what's already mine."

The silence hangs heavy. The bond burns under their skin. And for the first time, the triplets realize: they're not the hunters anymore.

They're the prey.
