Chapter 92 - Chapter 2 Deduction Test

Reluctantly squeezing out of the group of girls, Fatty noticed that several pretty girls were looking at him quite unfavorably. He decisively gave up the idea of squeezing back again and slipped back to the dormitory to pack his things.

As a bachelor, he had very few things, all of which could fit into a single suitcase. Only the Simulation Cabin gave Fatty a headache, but he ultimately decided to place it in Milan's laboratory because he wanted to utilize the gravity device there for training.

The Simulation Cabin was foldable, made of ultra-light materials, and could be lifted with one hand. Fatty carried his luggage in one hand and the Simulation Cabin in the other. Just as he walked down the dormitory building, he saw groups of girls pulling their luggage into the dormitory building opposite.

The scene in front was a surge of waves with bouncy rabbits, and the scene behind was rolling waves with graceful sway.

Fatty pounded his chest and stamped his feet in regret, lamenting that he gave up watching a group of people shower to watch just one person shower. He made a terrible trade.

A group of girls passing by saw a sleazy Fatty on the roadside looking at them with such despair that they were all startled. Some stared at him, some gossiped, some pulled their companions and ran, and some snickered. Fatty remained oblivious, muttering non-stop:

"33, 36, 35, this one is fierce, 39, wow, 42. I can't take it anymore....."

When a girl, struggling to carry heavy luggage, passed in front of this scoundrel, Fatty's nose almost bled, nearly bleeding from all his facial orifices.

"Hey, classmate, do you have a 50 here?"

"…I haven't weighed it, but this suitcase is quite heavy."

Fatty was glad he didn't ask clearly, narrowly escaping being beaten to death on the spot.

Catherine, laughing and chatting with her companions, was walking towards the dormitory. This beautiful and smart girl was leaving home for the first time; the outside world seemed so novel and free to her, she felt like a bird that had been set free. Recalling the expressions of her parents when they heard she had been admitted to the Military Academy always made Catherine laugh.

A life of wealth and excessive pampering didn't bring Catherine any happiness. She was tired of endless balls and those so-called high-ranking children. Only now, on this planet that still had the warmth of war ashes, in the fantasy of being a brave female officer in a future fleet, did Catherine truly feel joy.

When she saw Tian Xingjian on the roadside measuring busts, she didn't pay much attention at first, but as she got closer and saw this guy's sleazy gaze fixed on her chest, she realized that this Fatty had squeezed into the girl's group for twenty or more rounds earlier when reporting in!

She was infuriated. How could there exist such a shameless guy in this world! Catherine decided to teach this sleazy Fatty a lesson.

As a result, just as this modern martial arts women's champion approached Fatty and struck a pose without acting yet,

Fatty fled in a panic.

This was the first time Catherine encountered such a timid guy. She and her companions looked at each other and burst into laughter.

At that moment, Fatty only felt that a pair of 36D Big White Rabbits were glaring menacingly at him and, realizing he had been caught, didn't dare to look up at her face and ran away.

Feeling dejected, Fatty returned to his newly rented house, packed his things, and suddenly felt a sense of home.

Ann Lei was a clerical officer in the intelligence department, not the type of work involving long-term external missions. On regular days, Ann Lei liked to stay at home with her mother and personally cook a meal.

This meant that in the future, not only would Fatty have the chance to enjoy delicious meals, but he could also indulge in eye candy every day when Ann Lei showered. Just thinking about this made Fatty itch all over and his mood improved.

Extremely pleased, he went to the 6th Room to cancel his leave and then moved the Simulation Cabin to the laboratory. Upon seeing Fatty, Boswell tossed him a curriculum and said, "The academy's military training starts in a few days, lasting three months. You are assigned as an instructor in the mechanical repair soldier camp for the new recruits. These new recruits are students of the mecha design and manufacturing major. Don't disgrace me."

Fatty mentally cursed, "Old bastard, isn't this like forcing a duck onto a shelf?" After thinking it over, other things were impractical, but he was well-versed in mechanical repair, and fooling a few new recruits shouldn't be difficult.

Afraid the old man would assign more tasks, Fatty quickly made a getaway.

He dove into Milan's lab where, after not seeing him for a month, Milan was naturally overjoyed and buried her head in his arms while whispering sweet nothings. Fatty didn't listen to a single word she said but felt the softness of her chest, his soul flying heavenward.

The desire of a virgin is the easiest to ignite. After some affectionate time with Milan, Fatty was overwhelmed with burning desire and finally bit his tongue, making an excuse to withdraw in defeat, howling internally, "It's deadly, Miloke is full of Big White Rabbits!"

Looking at the bustling campus, it seemed everyone had their own tasks to do. Feeling idle, Tian Xingjian decided to find Russell.

Ever since he read Russell's letter, Fatty had reevaluated this future mentor of his, and had to admit, regarding war, Russell understood far more than he ever would.

Tian Xingjian was never one to get stuck in a rut; his character wasn't obstinate. Russell was right; he had his responsibilities. Having figured things out, Fatty believed he should apologize to Russell for his childishness.

When Tian Xingjian saw Russell, he was standing with hands behind his back, carefully examining a virtual map.

Seeing Fatty, Russell waved, blocking the words Tian Xingjian wanted to say, "There's no need to say anything else; come and look at this simulation."

Tian Xingjian carefully examined the map. It was a simulation map he had never seen before. The data on both sides were vastly different: the Red Team mainly attacked while the Blue Team mainly defended. Contrary to expectations, the defending Blue Team had more forces than the attacking Red Team.

This was an amphibious assault. Judging from the map, it seemed there was no place for the Red Team to exploit; the Blue Team's defenses were quite rigorous, with the beachhead trenches systematically arranged, and both sides were similarly equipped in terms of weapons.

Russell looked at Tian Xingjian and asked, "Can you find a flaw in the Blue Team's defense? If you were the commander of the Red Team, how would you plan to take this position?"

Looking at the Blue Team's position, Tian Xingjian vaguely saw a weak spot. Between two high grounds, there was a high ground of similar height without defenses. If he captured this area and eliminated the two Blue Team positions on either side, he could cut the Blue Team's defenses in half in one fell swoop. As long as they held for two hours, the Red Team could occupy the entire front of the beachhead and firmly establish it.

However, Tian Xingjian quickly abandoned this idea. This was a confrontation without armored forces in either the data or the map. If there were hidden artillery on both sides of the high ground, infantry airdropped here would only face slaughter. It was a carefully planned trap, just right to make some commanders feel the risk was worthwhile.

After a long, earnest deliberation, Fatty finally shook his head and said, "There's no way!" Russell's expression was complex, showing a mixture of some delight and some disappointment.

"However!" Tian Xingjian looked at Russell and said, "If you tell me that this local skirmish determines the outcome of the entire battle, and if this beachhead can't be captured, the main force of the Red Army will be entirely annihilated, then I'd force an attack here."

The spot Tian Xingjian pointed to was still that unforeseeable high ground.

Russell smiled and said, "Classes start tomorrow."

I've been busy with business these past two days; I'm heading to Moscow next week, so updates might be scarce. Writing today was difficult, and I'm not satisfied with this hastily written chapter at all. I really don't feel like publishing something I'm not happy with. Quality comes first, so please don't rush me; I'll write slowly and aim for more engaging content.
