Act II: A Life for a Life
Among the gang members he had faced that night, Code E – the man also known as the Egalitarian – was not that strong. His speed was not impressive and his power was even more disappointing. However, his defense was no less than the Iron who was as tough as tempered metal or the Cipher who wore an invincible armor. But unlike the latter two, the Egalitarian's defense was not some powerful body tempering skill or invulnerable armor, instead it was pure skill – skill so great that it could be called a law: the Law of Equals.
This Law was very similar to the principle of equalization under Milele town's magic sphere. However, unlike a magic circle covering the area of a town and engraved with countless formations and runes, the Law of Equals was a skill in one man's hands!
