"Huh, Why are you here? And switch off the lights fast," whispers the lady closing the window.
"I live here, this is my home, and why did you come from the rooftop? Is someone following you?"
"Yea, kind of."
"Why were you running away? Do you want my help in fighting them?"
"Haa, no, and I am not running away because I can't deal with them. It's just that my plan failed, and as a consequence, my team was captured, so I laid a trap to free them. They should be out by now." says the lady helping herself to sit on the ground.
[Looks at the ground, looks back at Leo, while Leo couldn't stop sparkling from his eyes]
"Were you trying to summon a devil or something?" says the lady sitting on the floor.
"A ghost to help me search for you apparently," also sits on the floor facing her.
"You wanted to see me that much that you actually were calling a ghost to find me?"
"I literally am madly in love with you, can't you see?"
"Didn't I advise you, it would be better if you fell out of it?"
"Don't disregard my feelings for you like this. It hurts, you know. I know it took me some time to figure it out, and by the time I realized it, I was already researching for you through the streets of this zone like a madman, merely hoping to see you again."
"Woah that much!" acknowledges the lady with a serious tone.
"I am not saying you fall in love with me, just because I love you but you can at least give me a chance, no? I am not that bad."
"That's the problem. You are a good person and being with me is only going to make you suffer."
"Would it be alright if I were a bad person?"
"I don't care about that sort, I simply don't want you to suffer when you are not supposed to."
"How can I ever be sorrowful just being with you? I don't understand."
"I am an assassin, the real worst one at that. I have too many enemies and they are always on the lookout to find anything that they can use against me and in the process, they wouldn't care if you get hurt or not."
"So what? The misery I feel not being able to see you and talk to you is much more than whatever shall come in the future. And I am a grown man. I can take care of myself, and if you know how I will be put in danger just tell me I will be careful and the rest you can take care of, no?"
"That is still too risky."
"Oh, come on, I am becoming short on ways to convince you now."
"But it is the truth plus don't you think just giving up would be much easier than convincing me?"
"No, never I am going to keep trying to persuade you because I want to be with you. Moreover, don't you think I am already taking too much risk by just staying in a place like this so a little more won't cause me any harm?"
"Fine, I give up," says the lady with a slight smile on her face.
"Really, then can I start by being a little close to you?"
"Sure, but how close are you talking about?"
"For starters, can I know a little about you?"
"The name is Ella Boone, 34 years old, both of my parents passed away in an accident years ago, and I have no other relatives. I am known to be the most dreaded assassin of the underworld and I am famous for finishing up the toughest rank of mission without leaving any traces behind."
"As you already know, I am Leo Mecana, 37 years old, an orphan, a decent doctor who loves thrillers." (A doctor and an assassin, how amazing it is going to be, I can't wait to see.)
"I am sorry, I would enjoy chit-chatting with you a bit more but I should leave, my team is waiting for me."
"Wait, when will we be able to meet again?" asks Leo, taking Ella's hands lightly into his as she begins to stand up.
"Soon, I will come to find you this time so stay put, okay?"
"Yes, ma'am."
In the days that followed, we continued to meet and engage in conversations. The time spent together was truly enjoyable, to the point where I couldn't help but ponder what my life would have been like had I not found her. Would I still be endlessly searching for her, or would I have surrendered to the dark side and resorted to desperate measures, even attempting to summon the demon lord in hopes of finding her? The consequence of her dangerous job weighed heavily on my heart, and each time she left, I was consumed by anxiety, uncertain if there would indeed be a next time or would all my happiness unexpectedly come to a climax. In these moments, I found myself longing for time to halt, allowing me to stay in this phase of bliss. But even after thinking all this, I don't regret being with her for a single moment.
"You know I thought of a name for you. I am going to call you my el-e-boon."
"Why would you even think that, isn't my name short as it is? Why do you want to make it bigger than it already is, even if you want to give me a name try something else, not this."
"Don't say it like that, you don't even know what it means."
"What does Ellae..... mean then?"
"It's my El-e-boon meaning you are my desire, Ella Boone, you are the wish that I have been granted 'El-e-boon' that's what it means."
"That's, a um aagh, I don't even know what to say."
"I make you speechless, hmm?"
"Whatever, I am off and we might not be able to meet for some days. The main part of this mission is beginning tomorrow and I am not jeopardising your life."
"Ahh, just when I thought things were getting nicer between us. But it is okay; I can wait for a while. So please make sure to come back to me without being severely injured, alright?"
"Of course, what could even happen to me? I am powerful, you know."
"Yes, I know. But still, I wish you would take care of yourself a little bit."
"Umm-hmm."
It had been a week since we last met. I was at home, seeking shelter from the upcoming storm, preparing to sink into my bed. As I was about to drift off to sleep, I heard a noise outside of the window. Filled with expectation, I rushed to the window, hoping it was my el-e-boon. To my surprise, there was no one in sight. Confusion gripped me as I scanned the surroundings, only to be met with a sudden, fatal impact—a bullet hitting my head. In those brief moments before my demise, I caught a glimpse of someone forcefully entering my room. With my final turn, I desired to identify this intruder, 'Ah, at least I can die with you beside me. I wish I could tell you how happy it makes me'. Thoughts raced through my mind, wishing I could express the immense joy her presence brought me. And then, in an instant, I surrendered to death's grasp—a victim of a murder. I still can't believe I was so easy to kill.

"Hey Jerry, are you paying attention to anything I was blabbering about?" asks Flavian.
