[Jeremy Martinez, a commoner and an orphan aspired to be a magician like his idol Oracle Luther, a benevolent master of the magic tower who enjoyed playing with kids and so often visited the orphanage where Jeremy stayed. Hence, he was trained by Oracle to become a mage and because of his higher achievements and potential he is currently the head of the mage tower.]
"Jerry, Listen to me", says Flavian after narrating the story of him and Ella from the Past.
"Stop calling me that. How many times have I pointed this out?"
"Why should I? You were okay with it when we were kids, what's the problem now?"
"That was when we were kids. Grow up already!"
"Fine, then listen to me."
"I was listening to you only, and what else was I even supposed to do if you just started describing your story in my ears? If she ignored you, don't you think she might not be the girl you are looking for?"
"That can't be. She has to be my el-e-boon. I am sure because only Ella can use the blades like this lady did today."
"Then there are only two reasons for the lady to ignore you, the lady does not remember you, or else she doesn't want to do anything with you in this life."
"I hope it's the first one."
[What exactly happened after Leesa fought the kidnappers? Back to the scene...
The white-haired and green-eyed man sprouting out "MY EL-E-BOON"]
Leesa after hearing the cringiest nickname of all time "He hit his head, I am sure of it."
"I too think he definitely hit his head on something when the carriage was halted sharply." said the person standing behind Leesa seemed more or less like a middle-aged man probably in his 50s, dressed like a butler.
Meanwhile, with Byrant, he is helping the two fallen soldiers and the horseman standing up though he is pretty injured.
"Byrant, let's go from here, " says Leesa, sensing some confusion.
"Why all of a sudden sis, you were the one who decided to help them and it seems they are some higher authority and now you are thinking of escaping?" voices Byrant with a clear confusion on his face not knowing why Leesa was behaving like that after dragging both of them in this mess.
"If we stay here any longer then our mission is not even going to be complete, even half of what we had planned," answers Leesa to make Byrant feel that nothing is wrong with her.
"Which mission are you talking about sis? Food expedition?" questions Byrant feeling even more suspicious of Leesa.
"No, you silly dear brother of mine, the food expedition was just an amusing name for our mission. I know the real goal is to find a cooking instructor for you."
Hearing this Byrant's respect for Leesa that had gone down by half margin came back to the highest position and Byrant was so moved by it that he was on the verge of crying. And that's when they both take their exit from the scene, while the weird man who apparently hit his head was still daydreaming.
Now continuing with their main objective for today's trip, Byrant and Leesa are again out in the grass to find the restaurant they heard about so much at the marketplace with the help of the map and Leesa's directing skills.
After elongated minutes of walking through the path filled with hardship, sweat and long grass, they saw the ray of hope; they found a bistro, it was an average-looking shop, not the royal treatment that they were used to but it was neat and clean to leave a good impression on them. They reached closer to the place and went in.
"What now sis?" asks Byrant, getting nervous out of nowhere.
"What, what now? We request food, you stupid and test whether this cook has the skills good enough for us to ask him to be your teacher," replies Leesa, already grabbing the menu from the counter and checking out the items to order.
"But all we were doing till now was globbing onto the meals from different places and now I am so full that if I eat another piece of even a little bread my stomach might burst open"
"Oh, stop exaggerating, finding the place and coming here was all it took to digest that entirely."
"God damn sis, at this point you don't have a stomach anymore, it's a black hole."
"Shut up and go order these dishes for me."
Byrant calls for someone and the chef comes out from the kitchen that was partially hidden, looks at the two of them carefully and takes the names for the items and goes back in. After a while, the chef came out carrying the food; it was fresh, hot and smelled delicious. Byrant and Leesa swaying up in the smell take their spoon to taste this delicacy.
"THIS IS FOOD!" exclaims Leesa, her eyes filled with pure pleasure and her face full of delight.
"Yes, it tastes heavenly," stated Byrant enjoying the dish.
"He is perfect Byrant, go and get him. You know how to and if what I taught doesn't work then beg him if you have to."
"Yes, ma'am."
Byrant stood up and made his way to the order counter where the chef was judging the reactions of these two.
"Sir, please take me as your apprentice," spoke Byrant, bowing his head a little to the front to show respect.
"And why should I do that?" inquired the chef with a doubtful look on his face.
"Because I have been interested in culinary for a long time and my curiosity led me to appreciate this cuisine."
"So, I should just accept you as my student because you are interested in cooking?"
"No sir, I've always had a passion for cooking and I want to learn from the best. I believe that you are one of the best chefs out there and I could sense it from the way you served us and from the taste of the food.
"HO HO, the flattery is not going to win over me, kid" commanded the chef.
Meanwhile, Leesa in the background 'It is so good I am going to melt away'.
