"Grrr..."
Alex turned his head slightly, his heart pounding as he heard the deep growls behind him.
"Shit!"
Without hesitation, he sprinted forward, not even daring to look back. From the sounds of rustling leaves and snapping branches, it was clear—a pack of wolves was chasing him.
They were fast. Too fast.
Despite his best efforts, they were closing in. He pushed himself harder, weaving through trees, but it wasn't enough. The wolves were built for this terrain.
Then, he saw it.
A cliff.
Alex didn't stop. Instead, he leaped off the edge.
For a split second, he felt weightless, falling toward the abyss below—then, with a burst of energy, he began to float.
The wolves, however, weren't so lucky. The ones in the front tried to stop, but the momentum from the ones behind them forced them forward. One by one, they tumbled over the edge, their howls fading as they disappeared into the darkness below.
Alex hovered in place, breathing heavily.
"Thank God I learned to fly... or else I'd be their dinner tonight," he muttered, wiping sweat from his forehead.
Regaining his composure, he pulled out the Dragon Radar and scanned the area. It didn't take long before he spotted what he was looking for—a three-star Dragon Ball lying in a patch of grass nearby.
He smirked. One down.

Collecting the Dragon Balls
Finding the rest of the Dragon Balls was easier than expected. Without competition—since Goku hadn't yet started searching for his grandfather's four-star ball—Alex was able to gather all seven within a month.
Now, standing in a secluded clearing, he placed them on the ground.
"Alright… time to make a wish."
He took a deep breath. This was it.
"COME FORTH, SHENRON, AND GRANT ME MY WISH!"
The sky darkened. Thunder rumbled as the Dragon Balls began to glow, their golden light piercing through the storm clouds above. A powerful energy surged through the air, and then—
A massive serpentine dragon burst forth. Its glowing red eyes locked onto Alex, its deep voice reverberating through the clearing.
"STATE YOUR WISH, FOR I SHALL GRANT ONLY ONE."
For a moment, Alex stood frozen, mesmerized by the sight of the legendary Eternal Dragon. Seeing Shenron in real life was… surreal.
It took him a second to snap out of his daze.
"Alright, focus."
Taking a deep breath, he spoke.
"Shenron… can you change my race to a Saiyan?"
The dragon's eyes flared, but then—
"YOUR WISH CANNOT BE GRANTED, AS IT IS BEYOND MY POWER."
Alex exhaled, feeling a pang of disappointment. "Well… it was worth a try."

Choosing a Wish
He crossed his arms, deep in thought.
'If I can't become a Saiyan, the best move is to go to Namek and use Porunga's three wishes instead…'
'But there were problems with that plan.'
'The best wish would be to go to Namek and use Porunga's three wishes... but there are some problems with that.'
'First—I'm too weak. Yeah, Namekians are supposed to be peaceful, but that doesn't mean they'll just welcome a random stranger showing up and asking for selfish wishes. Who's to say they wouldn't see me as a threat?'
'Second—even if I made it there, they could just refuse. Unlike Shenron, Porunga's wishes need the Namekian Elders' approval. If they don't want to grant them, I'm screwed. And let's be real—I can't exactly force them to comply.'
'No… I need a different approach.'
"HUMAN, IF YOU HAVE NO WISH, I SHALL DEPART."
Alex snapped out of his thoughts. "Wait! Might as well get something out of this…"
He clenched his fists.
"If you can't change my race… then my wish is to obtain the Saiyan Zenkai ability."
Shenron's red eyes glowed even brighter.
"YOUR WISH HAS BEEN GRANTED. FAREWELL."
In a flash, the dragon vanished. The sky returned to normal, and the Dragon Balls turned to stone before scattering across the planet.
Alex looked down at his hands, flexing his fingers. He didn't feel any different.
Well, I didn't wish for strength—just the ability to get stronger.

The Next Step—Training
"Now that I got my wish… it's time to learn the basics," he muttered. "I don't want to end up like Raditz—dying to someone weaker just because I got cocky."
But who should train him?
He could go straight to Goku, but…
"Even though Goku is stronger, Master Roshi is the better teacher," Alex reasoned. "More than 300 years of experience? Yeah, I'll go with him."
Finding Kame House should've been easy…
But after a full day of searching, he still couldn't find it.
Frustrated, he sat under a tree in a meditative pose, closing his eyes. Alright… let's try sensing Ki.
An hour passed.
Nothing.
Alex sighed and stood up.
"Fuck it. Looks like I need to visit Bulma again."
With that, he took off, flying toward Capsule Corp.
Building a Strong Foundation
As he traveled, Alex decided to discipline himself.
If he wanted to keep up with Master Roshi's training, he needed to be physically prepared.
So, he made a daily training routine for himself Morning exercises to build endurance.
