It had been a few weeks since Team E had met the Tsuchikage, and during this meeting they were informed that they had been chosen to participate in the Chunin exam, but it was not that simple because the Tsuchikage had assigned them a mission that consisted of humiliating the Kumo genin who were sent to participate in it.
To aid them in their mission, each of them was given the opportunity to select one scroll; the only condition being that they have to learn it before the Chunin exam began.
Which is why, team E is completely focused on training and learning the new jutsu they have acquired, thanks to the fact that they don't do any mission they have much more time to consacrate to training
That's why the group of three genin was presently undergoing some training designed by their Sensei.
Standing on water is a basic training, but their sensei told them that it is a good training that helps in increasing chakra control. To make the exercise more difficult for them, he started making small waves, which made standing on water more difficult. After some time, he decided to increase the size of the wave and the frequency of them every ten minutes.
The genin were confident in their abilities, but they were unprepared for the metter towering waves, which made training extremely difficult.
Team E fought until the very end of this training, but after 1 hour and 10 minutes, Iwame fell in the water due to the intensity of the waves, Zato fell in the water after 1 hour and 20 minutes because he didn't put enough chakra on his foot, which caused him to fall in the water, Okura, the girl in the group managed to fall after 2 hours and 10 minutes, the reason she fell was that she was tired , she didn't have such good stamina as the boys in here team had , even throw she had good chakra control and rather big chakra reserve.
The next training that their sensei assigned to them was kunai and shuriken throwing. At first, they had to throw one kunai or shuriken at a target 8 meters away, then one kunai and one shuriken at a target 10 meters away, and finally three kunai or three shuriken at a target 15 meters away. After completing his sentence, their sensei walked away, leaving them alone for the remainder of the day. They had one day to practise it after which they would have to show their progress to sensei.
The three members of team E worked hard for the rest of the day before heading home and resting. The next day, they all awoke earlier and decided to practice a little more before their sensei came.
When Sensei came, everyone was already prepared to demonstrate their abilities; they didn't have to wait long before their sensei set up everything necessary for the test to go off without any issues. He instructed team E members that they had to throw in order, and that after they finished, someone else would throw.
Zato was the first to begin throwing. He decided to throw a kunai, which landed in the middle of the target. He then threw a kunai and a shuriken, the result was slightly worse than the previous throw. Finally, he threw 3 kunai at a target 15 meters away, one kunai hit the target in the middle, one a little bit under, and one a little bit to the right. Their Sensei was very surprise of such a good result , the next one throw was Okura.
The result of Okura throwing was even better than Zato's, all of her throws touched the middle of the target, her Sensei praised here that she had a very good talent at throwing shuriken and kunai, the next one to throw was Iwame, unlike his two teammates who had a talent in throwing shuriken and kunai, he didn't have one, in his first throw the kunai barely touched the target, in the next throw he didn't manage to hit the target , as for the last one when he threw the 3 kunai he had practically hit his sensei.
Iwame had to practice kunai and shuriken throwing in his spare time, but their sensei had something new for them, they would have to show their progress at the jutsu that Tsuchikage had given them, Okura had volunteered herself to show what she had learned, she did a few hand signs and controlled her chakra flow, and finally two rock clones of herself appeared, Iwame was the next one to demonstrate his development; he made a few hand signs and clapped his hands together to form a large wall; his mastery over it was excellent, and with further practice, he could use this jutsu in a variety of ways.
Zato was the final performer; he began by making a few hand gestures and clapping his two hands on the soil, creating a 3 meter tall wave of water. Sensei applauded Zato's ability while also informing him that there are several powerful water techniques that he may master in the future. Unfortunately, the most powerful were not at Iwa's disposal, because Iwagakure didn't have many individuals with water affinity, which meant they didn't have many water jutsu, and the most powerful ones were at Konoha and Kiri's disposal.
Meanwhile, in Tsuchikage's office
Tsuchikage had gotten a letter in which it was mentioned that if he had any ideas for exams that might be done in the Chunin exam, he could write them down and they may be picked. It was also stated that each Kage received a letter in which they could submit a test that could be done.
The Tsuchikage smiled and began writing the hardest examination that could be done to genin, after which he handed his letter to an Anbu who would be responsible with delivering it to the appropriate persons.
