Reqiel waited at the point he had parted from Andras, wishing he could take him to see his mother, but he knew well that Andras couldn't stay in the Realm for that long.
"Did I keep you waiting?" Andras' familiar voice broke into his thoughts.
Reqiel turned around with a blinding smile, all the strain of the day falling away at the sight of the towering Demon. "Not at all, I just came from seeing my mother…" He plunged right into the details about his day, clinging to Andras' sleeve.
Andras listened closely, saying nothing about the fact that he had made a few trips to the Realm already, getting kicked out by the Realm each time. He took them away from the Celestial Realm with ease, their feet touching the ground in a clearing in the woods.
It was already sundown, the forest appearing even darker due to the trees around.
