Chapter 574 - Chapter 574: The Dragon King Emerges

"Need some time to recover?" Muria loosened the nebula chains around Elias. Wearing the Sacred Radiant Emperor armor, his face was hidden by the helm, and Elias could only hear his mocking voice.

"Does it make a difference, you hypocritical half-breed?" Elias looked at Muria with a dark expression. The radiant light of Muria's armor had already repaired the dents from their fierce battle, making him appear as unscathed as at the start. Elias, on the other hand, had his armor shredded by Muria, beyond self-repair, needing complete reconstruction.

He now stood defenseless, his only legendary spear, the Glorious Rainbow, embedded nearby with the Prison Pike lodged on top of it. In this state, another fight would only end in his defeat. Muria's power and physique, likely enhanced by divine essence, were already a match for him. With Muria wearing an impenetrable legendary armor, his defeat was inevitable.

"There is a difference. You still have the strength to resist, don't you?" Muria stepped towards Elias slowly, exuding a powerful pressure.

"If you have the guts, take off your armor and fight me."

"Why should I? I earned this armor with my own strength." Muria scoffed. "If you have the ability, get yourself a legendary armor and fight me. I don't mind."

"Damn it!" Elias dared not curse Muria anymore. For the first time in his life, he was beaten so brutally, without any regard for his status.

"Don't think I'm bullying you. This armor has fused with my body. I can't take it off; it's just how it is." Muria spread his hands as if helpless.

Elias's eyelid twitched in frustration. He had seen Muria don the armor, and now he was saying it couldn't come off? That was absurd.

"Let's have a good fight!" Muria laughed heartily, raising his fist and charging at Elias. The thrill of hitting flesh was incomparable, especially since Elias could endure his punches without worrying about breaking him.

...

"Ansoel."

"Hmm?"

"Your son was insulted by a Seraphim."

"And how is Muria dealing with this Seraphim?"

"He's beating him up."

"Then what's the problem? Why are you telling me this?"

"But his elder intends to intervene."

"What's the situation exactly?"

"A Seraphim wanted to take away the one who insulted Muria, but the emperor of the Uralnos Empire stopped him."

"I understand. What's the name of the one who intervened?"

"Elias Rafael."

"Alright, I'll gather some brothers and visit the Celestial Realm. He's from the Rafael lineage, right?"

"What are you planning, Ansoel?"

"I'm tired of killing demons. A little sparring with the Seraphim will be refreshing."

"Be careful." Atris, who had somehow heard the news, smiled and warned him.

"I know."

"Not over yet, Seraphim!" Watching her husband leave with a murderous aura, Atris narrowed her eyes. "Daring to call my son a half-breed. Even if the Seraphim are the strongest race in the Celestial Realm, you won't get away with this. The Titans might want to deescalate, but we dragons owe you nothing."

"Do you really think the dragon race is too disorganized to deal with you?" The beautiful blonde girl sat on her metal throne, her eyes showing a hint of cruelty. A dazzling light flashed, transforming her into a slender, elegant golden dragon. Unlike Muria and Deimos, but also different from ordinary golden dragons, she was forging her own path as a Dragon King, with her changing form being a side effect.

The dragon race is widespread, present in many material realms. They thrive in harsh environments like the Abyss and Hell, their adaptability allowing them to survive in 99% of environments. The Nine-Faced Dragon God invested significant effort in creating the dragons.

The dragon race includes the well-known metallic, gem, and chromatic dragons, which make up more than half of their population. But there are also the rare ferrous dragons, faerie dragons, avian dragons, and more. Despite their low numbers and remote habitats, these branches contribute to the race's diversity.

While the dragon race seems prosperous, its loose structure makes it less feared. Many seek fame by slaying dragons. If united, the dragon race would be the most powerful in known realms. Unfortunately, internal conflicts, like the ongoing feud between metallic and chromatic dragons, prevent unity, not even the creator Io can overcome.

Therefore, the dragon race's deterrence is less than that of the rare but united Titans and Seraphim. However, they are not to be underestimated, as the number of Dragon Kings is comparable to that of the Titans and Seraphim.

"Father, are you there? Please respond to your sweet daughter."

"What trouble now, Atris? I'm busy." The golden Dragon King coiled atop the highest peak of his world, beneath him blue-skinned humanoids worshipped, amidst smoking metal wreckage from a repelled otherworldly invasion.

"My... No, your grandson was bullied."

"Muria bullied? Impossible. I gave him a drop of origin blood; no one of equal level can beat him."

"Do you think I'd lie?"

"Then a stronger being intervened? Why tell me? Handle it yourself. If you can't, seek your husband. The Titans won't allow anyone to bully him."

"Do you know who bullied Muria? A Seraphim, calling him a half-breed."

"Half-breed? My Deimos's child called a half-breed." The Dragon King on the peak sneered. Even a Dragon King has emotions, and the insult to his descendant enraged him.

"What did the Titans do?"

"Muria beat the Seraphim, then a Seraphim elder intervened but was stopped by Osvaldo, the Uralnos Empire's founder. They fought in the void until the Ten Sovereigns intervened to deescalate."

"So my grandson wasn't wronged?"

"Only because Muria is strong. Without your origin blood and the legendary metals he took from... I mean, I gave him, he wouldn't have stood a chance. He'd be beaten, traumatized, and..."

"Enough. Those things didn't happen. Muria won, and the Titans won't let the matter slide. The Seraphim will pay a price."

"Potential scenarios can't be ignored just because they didn't occur."

"What do you want?" The Dragon King scratched his chin, sparks flying.

"That Seraphim insulted Muria, and the Titans have responded. Should we dragons do nothing? As Muria's grandfather, aren't you ashamed? Don't you feel guilty?"

"I can't intervene because I'm not in Erathia. You're too old for such antics."

"That doesn't matter. We need a Dragon King to stand up for Muria. His blood flows from you. Will you let the Seraphim insult him without repercussions? Or are you afraid of them? If so, I'll go to the Platinum Dragon God."

"Why bother the Dragon God?" Even Deimos, with his good upbringing, couldn't help but curse under his daughter's provocation. "Just some birds. You think I'd fear them? You're right; a Dragon King must act. Watch, I'll gather the others!"

"Hmph, the old guy still cares about face." Atris laughed triumphantly on the Titan Islands.

...

In the dark void, stars began to appear, more and more, making the starfield dazzling. The stars formed a massive dragon shape, majestic and spectacular.

Under the endless ocean, the waters surged, countless marine dragons converging from all directions towards a trench...

The ground shook, mountains collapsed, and the fierce beasts living there fled in panic...
