Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Little Brats

Chapter 11: Little Brats

Half a year passed quickly, and Su Hao's height had increased a little. He went from being three years old to three and a half.

Su Hao found it absolutely unreasonable. During this year, he paid great attention to balanced and nutritious meals. He should have grown taller and stronger, right?

"Where did all the meat I ate this year go?"

He even suspected that the "Strongest Toddler Nutrition Formula in History" recorded in the Spatial Ball was just a bluff. But the words "recommended by experts" written below should be reliable, shouldn't they?

Putting aside these thoughts, Su Hao glanced at Wu Yuntian, who was sitting next to him. Since Su Hao mentioned learning martial arts half a year ago, his father had been coming and going, busy with something. He would return home late every night and barely say a few words to Su Hao before eating quickly and going to sleep.

That evening, just as Wu Yuntian was about to leave after dinner, Su Hao hurriedly said, "Father, what about teaching me martial arts? It has been half a year now. When do we start?"

Wu Yuntian paused, as if he suddenly remembered that there was such a thing. He looked at his son and said slowly, "Oh, right. Let's start tomorrow then. Meet me at the granary early in the morning."

"Okay!" Su Hao nodded vigorously, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

The next morning, Su Hao arrived at the granary, a place specially used for drying grains. Wu Yuntian wasn't there, but he saw a girl of about four years old leading two young boys towards him. The girl had two high ponytails, a pretty face, and bright round eyes. She had the potential to become a beauty. The two young boys looked at least five years old, taller than her by a head. Despite their solid builds, they were completely subservient to the little girl, like two little followers.

As soon as Su Hao saw these three little brats, his head started to throb. He really couldn't stand bratty kids.

The little girl's name was He Qingqing, the daughter of the second-in-command of Chashan Outpost, He Jianyong. He Jianyong, also known as Captain He, held great authority in their little territory. He was someone whose words carried weight, so it could be imagined how special his daughter's status was. Nobody would dare to disrespect such a little girl, especially considering He Qingqing's sweet and lovely appearance. In this small outpost, she was simply adored and idolized by everyone.

He Qingqing appeared well-behaved in front of adults, but in the presence of the group of brats, she played the role of the eldest sister.

The two boys behind her were also children of outpost warriors. The taller one was called Lu Hongtao, nicknamed "Runny Nose," while the chubby one was named Li Cunzhi. These two seemed to be up to something. Every day, they would hover around He Qingqing and obey her every word, resembling two little lackeys. Did they also want to become childhood sweethearts?

Su Hao estimated that in a few years, their efforts would be in vain.

"Xiangwu, what are you doing? Let's go, let's catch fish in the stream!" He Qingqing walked up to Su Hao, acting like a bossy little girl.

Su Hao immediately shook his head and refused, "No, go ahead. I won't go with you."

He Qingqing put her hands on her hips and said angrily, "Wu Xiangwu, how dare you refuse me? Do you believe I'll let Runny Nose and Fatty beat you up?"

Runny Nose Lu Hongtao and Fatty Li Cunzhi stepped forward, their eyes filled with provocation and eagerness. They couldn't wait to give Su Hao a taste of their fists. Wu Xiangwu was quite slippery. They hadn't beaten him yet, and they were really looking forward to it.

Su Hao twitched the corner of his mouth and fearlessly said, "Miss Qingqing, I'm not refusing you. I just don't play with stupid people. If you want me to play with you, you need to prove that you're not stupid."

The three of them were infuriated by Su Hao's words. Runny Nose and Fatty were about to approach and teach Su Hao a lesson, but He Qingqing stopped them. She wrinkled her cute little nose and retorted, "I'm not stupid!"

The two lackeys immediately echoed her.

"We're not stupid!" "Me neither!"

Su Hao nodded in agreement and praised, "Oh, oh, Miss Qingqing, not bad at all."

"That's right! Since I've proven that I'm not stupid, let's go and play together!" He Qingqing eagerly invited. She desperately wanted Su Hao to join her and become her intellectual consultant and follower.

Su Hao shook his head again and said, "Although you've answered correctly, it's been a long time. That doesn't count."

He Qingqing's eyes widened, "Why doesn't it count? What should we do then?"

"The usual rules apply. I'll give you another question. If you can answer it, proving that you're not stupid, then I'll play with you."

He Qingqing hesitated and said, "You can't ask a difficult question."

Su Hao nodded.

He Qingqing added another condition, "You can't ask a math question."

Su Hao nodded again.

Then He Qingqing wrinkled her nose and nervously said, "Then go ahead and ask!"

"Listen carefully, I'm going to ask very simple questions that you know the answers to." Seeing the three of them attentively listening, Su Hao cleared his throat and said, "Please tell me, what kind of person gets sick and cannot see a doctor?"

He Qingqing's eyes quickly turned, and she confidently replied, "That's easy, I know this. It's a bad person! Bad people get sick, but doctors won't treat them."

Little did Su Hao know that she would answer like this. He shook his head and said, "That's not correct, but you're not far from the right answer."

"Not correct? Then what is it?"

"You'll have to figure that out for yourself."

He Qingqing turned to Runny Nose and Fatty and asked, but they remained silent. Runny Nose was too busy wiping his runny nose, while Fatty didn't utter a word.

"You two idiots!" He Qingqing stomped her foot in anger. She guessed a few more answers, but Su Hao rejected all of them. She was almost on the verge of tears. Finally, she glared fiercely at Su Hao.

"Wu Xiangwu, just you wait. I'll definitely figure it out." After uttering these threatening words, she left.

The two lackeys were shocked. "Qingqing, are we not going fishing anymore?"

He Qingqing replied, "No, stupid people go fishing."

Runny Nose Lu Hongtao was at a loss, turning to Fatty Li Cunzhi and asking, "Fatty, should we still go fishing?"

After Fatty called him a "stupid person," he followed He Qingqing, shouting, "Me too, me too!"

"Phew

, they finally left!" Dealing with bratty kids was harder than writing an essay for Su Hao. If his younger brother Luo Chaoxin dared to annoy him like this in his previous life, he would have taken action. Unfortunately, he was currently weak and couldn't fight. If he could fight, he would never resort to words.

...

A moment later, Wu Yuntian suddenly appeared next to Su Hao, curious as he asked, "Who is it that gets sick and can't see a doctor?"

Su Hao instantly had a black line on his forehead. Why was his father joining in on this kids' game?
