Gael PoV
I sighed as I finished the repairs on Saffron's angel tool. It had been a lot of hard work, but it was finally over.
"Exhausted? Should've let me help more," Setsuka said as she walked over to me.
I smiled weakly. "Yeah, but our kid's health matters more."
She place a hand on her belly and smiled. It was still early that one couldn't see a baby bump yet.
Just then, Seb waddled over, his little legs moving as fast as they could, holding his bear plushie tightly. His wide eyes sparkled with curiosity, and a smile spread across his face as he approached us.
I snickered. "Is someone excited to be a big brother?"
He nodded and bounced his bear. "Cub!"
Setsuka and I chuckled at our son's excitement.
Just as I was about to say something else, a loud grumble erupted from Seb's tummy, making him pause mid-bounce. His eyes widened in surprise, and he looked down at his belly, as if trying to figure out the source of the noise.
