Before heading out, Ethan said to Gabriel Johnny, "You're getting off easy this time. I'll be back soon. If something actually does happen, you're the one to bite the dust."
Gabriel Johnny nodded.
If anything did go wrong, even if it cost him his life, he would make sure that Scarlett Glenn was safe.
Ethan grabbed his wallet and left the house.
He had just left, it was probably five minutes, when the door sounded. Touching her chin, Scarlett said, "Back so soon? That's not likely. Go hide for a bit."
Gabriel Johnny held his abdomen and stood up, heading to the bathroom.
After he had gone in, Scarlett got up leisurely and said, "Here we go..."
When she opened the door, a young man of average height with dark skin was standing outside. He was very thin and seemed to be a local resident. He opened his mouth to reveal a pair of somewhat yellowish teeth: "Miss, your husband said the sewer is blocked, and he sent me to help clear it."
