The demise of Gwinam had created a void in the empire, but her very soul lived on in every young guardian she had trained. They accepted the reality of being stewards of sustainability to carry on the torch of change, hence ensuring that her legacy would go on forever.
The empire continued to bloom under the guidance of these powerful souls, such that eventually advances and innovations became a way of life. Today, those emerging young leaders mobilized efforts beyond the borders of the realm, using their knowledge to teach others on how to adopt sustainable practices.
They taught themselves the value of awareness and education as the primary drivers of lasting change and established schools and programs committed to teaching future generations about sustainability. Children grew, knowing that all living things were interrelated and that they had a hand in the conservation of natural habitat.
Every day, the young guardians busied themselves with solving problems that the realm and the rest of the world faced. They tackled climate change with renewable energy solutions and policies that targeted high carbon emissions; they opposed deforestation to restore forests and keep biodiversity safe from endangerment; and they taught what it means to have sustainable agriculture through organic farming methods while uplifting the local food systems.
But perhaps their above efforts were directed at making a sort of shift in the perception of society. They had known that the actual change in society could bring about the disappearance of subject poverty really worth great effort and lived persistence.
