On his first visit to the largest city in the Cultivation world, Basil Jaak hadn't expected to encounter such a gatekeeper.

Basil Jaak answered straightforwardly, expecting the man to register his details and then go inside to report. To his surprise, after the man heard Basil Jaak's words, he suddenly smiled, then walked up and slapped Basil Jaak across the face!
"Where did this servant come from? Scram!"
He called out arrogantly, sending a slap flying towards Basil Jaak.
The slap was incredibly fast, and the guard thought that Basil Jaak would be smacked to the ground.
