Chapter 15 - Ihaan Enters The Battlefield

Amir walked towards Shayan, "How did you figure out that he can't use his Prodigy when he is taken by surprise and he can't absorb energy itself? You don't even know much about Prodigies?"

"When you kicked him in the face and then punched him, it took time but he was able to absorb the effects of your Prodigy so it was clear that he can't absorb instantaneously. So, the best way was, not giving him a chance to take the effects and give it to earth or anything else." Shayan took Aminta from the ground and threw him toward Amir agian,

"I get it, we beat him up faster than he can counter." Amir jumped and kicked Aminta into the ground. "Increase his weight to the maximum," Shayan said to Amir.

"I can't. I used up all my Nur force, if I use more, I won't be able to even move." Amir fell to his knees and spat blood. "He won't be waking up from that beating for a while," Shayan rushed towards Amir to give him a shoulder. "Hey, are you alright?" Before they could get any time to celebrate, they heard a voice coming from the forest again, this time it seemed like a whole army was approaching with extraordinary speed.

"What is it now?" Amir said with irritation, but before any of them could see what was going on, a whole squad of people came there, they all had the same tattoo as Aminta and they were wearing the same cloaks as him. One of them stepped up, "Aminta you got beaten by these kids, pathetic. Well, you weren't much bright when it came to using Prodigy to attack. A shield trying to be a sword, pathetic."

"Who are you guys?" Amir asked, but that guy didn't answer instead he said "Take the boy we came to collect and kill anyone who intervenes." All 12 of those men started attacking Amir and Shayan, they both tried to defend themselves but the enemy was too strong and greater in number. Amir was already defenseless he didn't have enough power to fight back while Shayan couldn't do much alone as well.

One of them created some rods with his bones and stabbed Amir through both hands and then his gut, others stood back and just watched him stab both of them, he stabbed their hands and then both legs and when he heard Amir screaming, he stopped because Shayan wasn't crying or screaming, he wasn't even reacting to his pain. "Why the hell are you not screaming?" The man asked aggressively.

"I'm sorry but I've been bearing more pain than you just gave me, so that pain is still more, making my brain forget about this pain that you just gave me. It's like having a nail removed while someone try to pinch you, you won't even feel the pinch." Shayan answered calmly. That guy with a 3-foot-long rod of bone walked towards Shayan and stabbed one bone rod in his shoulder, Shayan didn't even flinch. "Scream or I'll kill you. Not that I will let you go if you don--"

Before he could utter another word, something passed by him with the speed of light, his head fell on the ground in an instant and his both hands fell after his head. "You are on Quwahar territory." A man landed right in front of those 11 men, "You weaklings trying to gang up on bunch of kids?" He smiled.

"Master Ihaan!" Shayan shouted, "Be careful they outnumber you." Ihaan gave a big smile and said, "Don't worry I won't even have to use 1 percent of my power to beat these weaklings."

One of them shouted "He is Master Ihaan. Run! We were ordered if we were to lay eyes on Ihaan, Harun, or Masir, we were to run for our lives and abandon the mission." He started running, and terror consumed all of them some tried running and others couldn't even move from their spot, "Running without a fight, pathetic."

Ihaan jumped and slaughtered three of them in an instant. Others were making their escape, but they knew it was futile. Ihaan jumped and landed right in front of them, "Have mercy on us, we will tell you everything." One of them cried, "It's futile, he doesn't have mercy. He is called Ihaan the Soulless for a reason." The man next to him cried as he accepted his fate.

"But he bleeds like us, that means he can die, we all join our Prodigies to attack we can win. All life force dies."

Ihaan smiled, "I am beyond death. I am Ihaan the Soulless." Ihaan sheathed his sword and grabbed one of them from his head and crushed it with his bare hand's grip. Others tried to run in the opposite direction but he walked slowly behind them and ripped their heads like paper.

"You need at least one for interrogation, right? Leave me." That man shouted.

"I don't care about interrogation, but I'll let you go if you and your friend here hit me with your Prodigy, I'll take the attack head on and if your Prodigy manages to move me an inch from this place, I'll let you both go. Both of you, join your Prodigy and attack." Ihaan gave them a choice, well it wasn't a choice if you think about it, if they don't accept, they will die, and if they accept and lose, they still die.

"My Prodigy is fire creation, I can't beat him but moving him just an inch away should be easy if Ahmer uses his fire Manipulation and control the flames I create and throw everything at him. If I channel all of my Nur force to create flames as intense as possible,it should be strong enough to kill any other Aurian so, it should be enough to move this soulless monster. I, Harris son of Hassan, will live through this day." He thought to himself, as he whispered his plan to his friend Ahmer.

"We accept," They fearfully said in sync, "We'll combine our Prodigy and shoot your whole body at once."

"Do whatever you like?" Ihaan smirked. Harris took a step back. Harris pointed his both hands towards Ahmer who was pointing his hand towards Ihaan, "Take them and throw everything at him." Harris said to Ahmer, as he sighed. His hands started glowing and they were making a sound like something was about to come out of them.

Harris created flames and Ahmer controlled the direction of those flames and shot them right at Ihaan, and he didn't even try to dodge and took the hit directly. The magnitude of the attack was so big that it took off hundreds of trees with just one blast. Harris and Ahmer fell backward because of recoil. "That should do the trick no ordinary Aurian can be standing in the same spot after getting hit by such a massive attack."

"Don't you know I am not ordinary?" Ihaan was standing in his place, ashes falling around him, burnt trees falling, Harris could see him standing, not sure whether he budged from his spot or not. "No way--" Harris cried. Ihaan was standing in the same spot.

He wasn't bleeding, even his clothes were intact. "Impossible, I know you are the strongest there is, but that blast should have at least grazed you. Just how strong are you?" He whined,

"It's not that I am strong, it's just that you are too weak to harm a man who is number one under the sun. No one has more power than me none has ever lived or will come in the future that can defeat me." Ihaan laughed maniacally took a step forward and crushed the tree trunk with his bare feet. He had blood on his hands from crushing that man's comrades.

"You can't harm an Aurian if he has 10 times more Nur Energy than you. Come on, you forgot the first and most important thing that your boss told you 'Run if you even lay eyes on Ihaan.' And you seriously chose to attack me even though you knew I was number one." Ihaan slowly approached Harris, who was lying on the ground in fear, Ihaan sat on his feet and, said "I'll use a bit of my strength to kill you, it will be over before you know." Harris was paralyzed with fear, his body was shaking on its own. He looked at Ahmer who had already accepted his fate and was sitting with his head bowed.

Ihaan took his sword out and gave Harris a tap with it on his head. Before he could comprehend what was happening his body blasted along with some of the ground and trees, the ground was painted red from Harris and Ahmer's blood. The simple tap was much more destructive than Harris and Ahmer's fire attack. "Weakness disgusts me, but to me, everyone is just so weak, so--" He smiled. "Rejoice, for you were killed by the strongest being in the universe." He laughed again.

Shayan looked puzzled, he never had seen Ihaan laugh like that. But, now that he had seen Ihaan in action, he knew what those stories of Ihaan the Soulless meant. And how true they were…

He now knew what an actual monster looked like.
