"Mom! There is an elevator! Do we ride that one?" Arthur asked as he pointed to the rickety elevator.
"We have to see if it works even if there are passengers who have yet to explore the depths."
Riding the elevator alongside the kids, the three were surprised to see how many buttons the elevator had. Adelaide seems to have seen one before based on her reaction to the elevator. Still, she was astonished at how many floors the elevator actually descends on. The other two should be seeing the elevator for the first time unless they have seen it in books. Elaina operates the elevator and makes sure they descend towards the appropriate floor... however, the elevator wouldn't budge even if Elaina was there.
"Is it broken?" Adelaide frowned.
"No, that wasn't the case. I see now."
