Isla was quickly directed to one of the city's churches. The war was still going on and would not stop for a while because the city was too big. Fighting was in every corner of the city, even though the main fighting was over.
This reflected the fact that the city was very well run or that the followers of this new religion were too faithful, as most of the battles were taking place in the churches.
"Miss, this way. In the basement, we found an altar and a couple of other things, including a key that seems to fit something, but we can't try it."
"Can't you use the key?"
"No, miss. Touching it is all we can do."
Isla nodded, and they soon reached the basement of the church.
There was nothing here except for an altar with some old blood sprinkled.
'It's the same as what we saw in the Dark Kingdom churches.'
The altar was identical in many ways but had a peculiarity in its center.
A shape like a keyhole where the key that was now in Isla's hands might fit.
