Isla looked behind her at the girls, who were staring in shock at the man who had just arrived. They were already holding their weapons, ready to fire at any moment.
"Leave. Tell Aline to get ready to fight."
For safety, Aline had stayed behind to protect the entrance. What Isla didn't expect was that the attacker would be so elusive as to have some ability to disappear from perception.
But since he was here, there was no way she was going to let him leave.
The girls behind her understood the meaning: They would be a burden if they stayed. So they had no choice but to leave quickly, or so they tried.
"I don't think I let you leave," growled the man standing there. He raised his hand towards the exit, trying to destroy it with a powerful ranged attack.
Isla then raised her newly regenerated arm and quickly intercepted the attack with one of her own. "I don't think I allowed you to do that."
The man frowned and looked at her.
