Chapter 18 - Tier 2

Mei's trial clone lacked independent consciousness; it was a purely instinctual energy projection. While only Tier 2, its combat strength was significantly enhanced.

Star Spirit.

Super Burst.

Limit Break.

The projection clone only possessed these three abilities. Normally, it had barely peak Tier 2 combat strength, but its full power was still terrifying.

Even though the projection clone's Super Burst and Limit Break were weakened, it was still more than a Tier 2 Void Wanderer could withstand.

Especially in this Tier 1 Advancement Mission world.

After responding to her own summoning through the shattered constellation ritual, Mei understood; she couldn't return to the space until all Void Wanderers completed the final trial. She had to respond to the summoning as this world's god.

Sure enough,

Boom!

With a thought, Mei unleashed a violent star energy vortex, crushing the trial clone and swiftly completing the final trial of the Advancement Mission.

[Advancement Mission・Phase Four・Complete]

[Points Acquired: 8000]

[Temporary Mission Commenced]

[Temporary Mission: As the sole god of this world, respond to the Void Wanderers' summons and bestow upon them the final trial. Unable to return to the space until the temporary mission is completed. Time limit: one year.]

[Mission Reward: 10000 points]

As expected.

"At least it wasn't for nothing."

Mei didn't mind; she was merely the tool responding to the summons. She didn't need to participate personally; the projection clone could handle the trials.

However,

She highly doubted that any other Void Wanderer besides herself would pass the final trial. The other Void Wanderers could only rely on luck.

The Limit Break and Super Burst combo could obliterate not only Tier 2 but also Tier 3 Void Wanderers, leaving no trace.

Logically, if a Void Wanderer didn't surpass their current Grade in the Advancement Mission, they would almost certainly fail and return, as in this instance.

Even aside from the final trial's difficulty, the earlier phases were already beyond the capabilities of Tier 1 Void Wanderers. Without Tier 2 combat strength or equipment, success was unlikely.

Only Legion members fared better; they could fight together, reducing the Mission Difficulty. Temporary teams lacked trust; infighting over benefits could arise.

Legions had strict yet fair distribution and compensation rules; therefore, Legion members were far more cohesive than temporary teams.

"Flashy!"

"Understood!"

Another Nova Legion squad appeared, though smaller—only three members; one of them was Flashy, who had previously entered the Star Beast world.

The merged Flashy possessed full Tier 2 combat strength. Having completed another mission world, he now had mid-Tier 2 strength.

This Advancement Mission presented no difficulty for him; forming a team was purely to help other Legion members. He was the absolute main attacker.

Facing a Tier 2 Stargazer, the other two members held him back; Flashy seized an opening and fired a powerful blast, critically wounding the Stargazer.

Bang!

A sharp blade flashed; one team member seized the opportunity, decapitating the Stargazer.

The Stargazer's body fell to the ground, turning to gray ash.

The Void Wanderer sheathed his blade, sighing in relief.

"Finally eliminated."

Flashy picked up the dropped Stargazer relic: "We've gathered enough relics for the three of us to conduct the final trial; I'll go first."

"Okay."

"Go."

Gathering three relics wasn't strictly necessary; information on the shattered constellations was difficult to obtain; they had almost gathered enough relics when they learned about the shattered constellations.

As the team's main attacker, Flashy going first was acceptable. Perhaps due to this being his first Advancement Mission, Flashy was a little nervous,

And somewhat uneasy.

He drew the shattered constellation on the ground, placed the relics, and used his Star Beast power to channel star energy into the constellation altar.

Hum—

Suddenly,

The shattered constellation glowed.

The three instantly prepared for battle; Flashy tensed.

The shattered constellation's light gradually solidified in mid-air; a figure, radiating a faint glow, answered the summons, slowly materializing.

"Hm?"

Flashy frowned, sensing something was amiss. He couldn't see the figure's face, but inexplicably, the figure seemed familiar.

Like he'd seen it somewhere?

No, that couldn't be right!

Suddenly,

A buried fear surged; Flashy's heart pounded uncontrollably; intense terror overwhelmed him.

He didn't understand what was happening.

In that moment of stupor,

"Flash!"

His teammate's shout jolted him back to reality. The moment the projection clone fully materialized, powerful star energy fluctuations erupted, sending his two teammates flying.

Flashy had no time to react; forcing down his inexplicable fear, he charged towards the projection clone. His furious assault compressed the air before him into a white wall of sound, which he then shattered with a single punch.

Bang!

Visible shockwaves spread. Flashy, relying on his powerful Star Beast physique, landed a blow, sending the projection clone flying. His combat experience instinctively suppressed his fear, allowing him to pursue.

A flash of light, then nothing.

Star energy coalesced into an energy blast that struck the projection clone. As the clone flew back, it extended a hand, forming a concentrated mass of star energy.

In an instant,

A large amount of star energy compressed in the projection clone's palm formed a glittering orb. This familiar sight triggered Flashy's memories.

"Roar!"

The still-glowing consciousness within Flashy was terrified; the figure's posture matched someone from his past memories.

It was the shadow he couldn't shake.

Triggered by Flashy's memory, a jolt ran through him; he understood his unease, but he quickly recovered.

"Don't be afraid; I'm stronger now; I can fight!"

In a flash,

The energy blast and the energy orb collided violently, creating a crater hundreds of meters wide; the entire ruin was leveled.

Thick smoke billowed across the land.

Flashy was exhausted.

"Is it over?"

As if in response, the smoke was instantly cleared by powerful star energy. The projection clone decisively activated Limit Break, then unleashed consecutive Super Bursts.

Boom!

Terrifying energy erupted, leaving Flashy speechless. He swore, "This is a Tier 1 Advancement Mission trial?!"

Rumble!

Surging energy crackled with arcs of electricity; deafening thunder roared through the dark clouds, and lightning bolts danced wildly.

After Limit Break, the projection clone had reached Tier 3 combat strength. With Super Burst energy poised to strike, the scene was truly terrifying.

Star energy surged.

The ground trembled violently.

"Holy crap!!"

The other two team members were terrified by the power; they wouldn't believe this was a Tier 1 Advancement Mission!!

"What kind of joke is this? This could probably make even a Tier 3 being shit themselves!"

The three hadn't expected the final trial to escalate like this. They believed this Advancement Mission wasn't designed for anyone to pass.

Simply terrible luck.

"Flashy, we can't win; run!!"

"Run? Hell no!"

Immense pressure bore down like a tidal wave; sweat poured down Flashy's back; the deep-seated fear intensified.

Escape was impossible.

The power difference was too vast.

This was a death sentence.

Flashy gritted his teeth, shouting.

"Damn it, all out!"

Star Beast Form・Unleashed!

Thump! Thump!

A powerful heartbeat echoed; Flashy's body rapidly expanded, transforming into a colossal Star Beast nearly a hundred meters tall. Flashy once again unleashed his full power.

Hum—

Ignoring the projection clone's oppressive aura, Flashy desperately tried to unleash all his power, but the projection clone didn't give him the chance.

The energy torrent arrived instantly, engulfing Flashy in a flash.

Boom!

A terrifying shockwave spread, engulfing Flashy's two teammates. Even from a distance, they couldn't escape.

When the dust settled,

Only a bottomless crater remained, with violent energy dissipating within the abyss, occasionally flashing with intense light.

Not only Flashy and his team but also numerous nearby Void Wanderers were caught in the blast; the destructive power was terrifying.

Others were instantly rendered unconscious, reduced to fundamental particles by the crushing shockwave.

Even the Blood Rebirth-level regeneration ability was useless against this level of attack; not even remnants remained.

A deep blue orb of light, riding the shockwave's aftereffects, landed at the crater's edge, carving a long fissure in the ground. After a moment, the orb dissipated.

"Cough… cough!"

The terrified robed youth crawled from the ground. Fortunately, his distance from the blast's center saved him, but he still suffered injuries from the shockwave.

Wiping blood from his lips,

The robed youth shakily stood, his pupils constricting as he took in the scene before him, frozen in place.

He saw an unbelievably massive crater before him; chaotic energy and lightning crackled, even clearing the dark clouds from the sky.

His expression was dazed.

"What… what happened…"

This scene was even more shocking than Mei's ascent into the heavens; the sheer destructive power was truly overwhelming.

In the distance,

Mei stood at the crater's edge.

"…"

She couldn't deny it. She knew her projection clone had been excessively powerful as a final trial; those without Tier 4 strength couldn't withstand such a devastating attack.

This was truly oppressive for Tier 1 Void Wanderers.

To be fair,

This had eliminated many Void Wanderers, saving Mei a lot of effort. She hadn't intended to interfere with the trials; it wasn't her concern.

Other Void Wanderers could only blame Hyperdimensional Space.

Recovering his composure,

The robed youth saw someone in the distance and approached with a harmless smile, attempting to be friendly.

"My friend!"

But,

As he drew closer, the back seemed familiar; the image of the domineering figure who had sent the god back into the heavenly gateway flashed through his mind; the youth's smile froze. He stopped.

Mei watched the robed youth with interest; she knew he was on a killing spree; numerous Void Wanderers had fallen victim to him, though his motives remained unclear.

"What is it?"

"Ha ha,"

The robed youth's cold sweat poured down; he forced a strained smile and turned to leave: "Excuse me, I mistook you for someone else."

Hum—

Instantly,

Unescapable star energy confined the robed youth. Mei curiously asked, "If I'm not mistaken, you were about to attack me. I'm curious about your motives."

Mei suspected that either the youth was truly insane, or he was connected to Transcendent Space. She recalled the Transcender who had possessed the Drowned God's body.

Void Wanderers could join Transcendent Space.

If eliminating Transcenders yielded substantial points, then eliminating Void Wanderers for Transcenders likely also offered a significant reward.

A logical deduction.

One thing remained unclear to Mei: traitors couldn't be detected by the space, so Elimination Missions wouldn't be triggered, preventing reward acquisition.

Therefore, she couldn't confirm the robed youth's traitorous status.

"My friend, you've misunderstood!!"

The robed youth's face was pale; he was terrified, shouting, "I merely mistook you for someone else; I had absolutely no ill intentions!"

As Mei focused on the robed youth, a cold glint appeared—a war banner raised high on a spear.

The war banner depicted two crossed longswords; at the center was a glittering decussate star—the banner of a top-tier Transcendent Space Legion.

The Decussate Star Legion.

The war banner roared in the wind like a dragon's cry. Drop, wielding a spear, pierced the air, instantly traversing the distance to strike at Mei with unstoppable force.

[Transcender Detected]

[Elimination Mission Commenced]

[Elimination Mission: Transcendent Space is the enemy of Hyperdimensional Space. Transcenders are mortal enemies. Eliminate the Transcender before you.]

[Mission Reward: 20,000 points]

"So that's it."

Mei understood; she had suspected Red and Drop were up to something; they were Transcenders, a delivery right to her doorstep.

Boom!

The spear, with immense force, obliterated the robed youth. But it stopped just short of striking Mei; Drop's expression changed.

Then, a flash of light.

Drop's attack failed; she quickly retreated. Red, using a hidden technique, unleashed a seven-colored arrow from his longbow. The arrow, seemingly piercing space itself, struck Mei.

Boom!

The ground trembled violently. Enhanced by the Decussate Star Legion's war banner, Red's dazzling arrow unleashed Tier 4 destructive power.

A colossal pillar of energy shot into the sky.

Crack!

Red's longbow shattered, a Tier 3 weapon broken by a single shot. Red felt a searing pain; this ability was incredibly expensive.

Energy surged within the pillar of light, reaching towards the heavens.

Red approached Drop, retrieving another Tier 3 item from his Personal Spatial Storage. He had prepared for significant energy expenditure.

"Seriously? She's not dead?"

The points hadn't been credited yet, meaning the opponent hadn't been eliminated. Red was incredulous; the war banner's enhancement plus his ability should have been enough to eliminate a Tier 4 being.

Drop prepared for battle.

"Even if not dead, she must be critically injured."

Red's attack was undeniably powerful; he had a record of critically injuring or even killing Tier 4 Void Wanderers; Drop fully acknowledged his attack's strength.

But,

What happened next was completely unexpected.

A figure emerged from the pillar of light; Mei, completely unharmed, reappeared; that level of energy was inconsequential to her.

"Whoa!"

Realizing the situation was beyond expectations, Red's pupils constricted. He took a step back, his face darkening, gritting his teeth: "It's not Tier 4; it's Tier 5!"

If it were Tier 4, she wouldn't have withstood that attack unharmed. Perhaps she possessed an item that nullified the damage.

Red hoped it was the latter; if she were truly Tier 5, they were doomed.

It was fortunate or unfortunate that the robed youth had lured a big fish, one capable of sinking their ship.

A suffocating sense of pressure.

Mei clenched her fist.

Bang! Bang!

With no way to resist the impending power, Drop and Red vanished, replaced by straw dummies that were obliterated by Mei's attack.

Instantly,

Using the dummies as a diversion, they teleported thousands of kilometers away. Red's heart pounded violently; the shadow of death lingered, leaving him intensely frightened.

There was no time for relief.

"Drop, the spear!"

Red shouted.

Drop immediately tossed the war banner and spear to Red. If Mei was truly a Tier 5 powerhouse, this didn't mean they'd escaped.

They could only fight to the death.

Red retrieved a large bow, equipping the Legion's war banner and spear as arrows, aiming at Mei.

Ability activated!

The Tier 3 bow, war banner, and spear released their power simultaneously; cracks appeared on all three as terrifying energy fluctuations erupted.

Boom!

The spear launched, but before it could travel far, Mei, teleporting before them, caught it and crushed it with brute force.

In his final moment, Red roared his last words.

"Damn it, she's truly Tier 5!"

Drop nodded.

"Yes, Tier 5."

Then,

The two were consumed by the spear's explosive power, perishing. Transcendent Space's Decussate Star Legion had lost a war banner—a significant loss.

[Elimination Mission・Complete]

[Points Acquired: 20,000]

[Remaining Points: 1,058,600]

One million and fifty-eight thousand six hundred points!

Red and Drop possessed comparable strength, but they were only Tier 3 Transcenders, incomparable to the Transcender who had possessed a Drowned God's body. Mei wasn't interested in analyzing it further.

Perhaps that Transcender was unique; occupying a Drowned God's body, even without equipment or items, granted considerable Tier 5 combat strength.

Therefore, the reward was higher.

Having noticed the high-quality Transcenders and the significantly higher elimination rewards compared to completing missions honestly, Mei even wished there were more Transcenders.

Unfortunately,

There seemed to be only a few, and they had all fallen to her.

As for the well-hidden traitors, Mei didn't know their identities and couldn't capture them.

Furthermore,

Eliminating traitors offered no reward; Mei wouldn't waste her time on such fruitless endeavors; she would likely ignore them even if she knew.

Unless they provoked her.

The temporary mission's one-year time limit was insignificant to a long-lived being like Mei; it would pass in an instant.

Lifespan held no meaning or value for her.

In a blink, a year passed while Mei passively responded to all the shattered constellation summoning rituals. She opened her eyes.

Massive craters had appeared across the desolate world; the cause was obvious. After discovering the extreme danger of the final trial, the Void Wanderers had abandoned the Advancement Mission.

Legion members were the most sensitive.

When they lost contact with their fellow Legion members, they realized something was wrong in the final trial.

It was a deadly trial.

Therefore,

Many Void Wanderers survived the year; some hadn't reached the final trial, and others were the Legion members who had sensed something was wrong early on. They weren't completely wiped out.

[1]

Time's up.

[Temporary Mission・Complete]

[Points Acquired: 10000]

[Advancement Mission・Complete]

[Assign New Mission?]

[Yes]

[Advancement Mission Assignment Successful]

[Settlement Complete]

[Remaining Points: 1,068,600]

After selecting to assign a new mission, the interface displayed the settlement; the Advancement Mission was complete, and Mei returned to the void.

Before returning, Mei retrieved her Fundamental Core from the Planck membrane.

Tzzz—

The Void Wanderers vanished.

Back in Hyperdimensional Space.

The interface appeared.

[Current Grade: Tier 2]

Mei looked at her over one million remaining points, unsure which ability to enhance. Enhancing Star Spirit to LV24 cost a staggering 3,000,000 points.

It was at least a Tier 5 ability.

Upon further consideration, the cost-effectiveness of spending points on any ability wasn't high. Limit Break, although forcibly upgraded to LV10 in the Advancement Mission, remained un-upgradable upon returning to Hyperdimensional Space.

Finally,

Mei decided to save her points; enhancing new abilities would be the most cost-effective use. One million points could fully upgrade a low-level ability.

"Ooah."

Shiro, with a lollipop in its mouth, cheerfully followed Mei, who wandered through the marketplace, stopping before Little Star Treasures.

She sat before the prize ticket machine.

"Hey, my friend, back again!"

Without hesitation, Mei used 1,000,000 credits as usual, swiping her card and initiating a draw.

This time, her luck wasn't as good. Of 100 draws, she received 92 Tier 1 tickets, 7 Tier 2 tickets, and 1 Tier 3 ticket.

No Tier 4 tickets.

After the exchange, combined with previously accumulated tickets, Mei now had 1 Tier 4 ticket and 8 Tier 3 tickets.

Overall, her luck was acceptable.

Then,

Mei went to the central plaza; many Void Wanderers had gathered, watching a massive war unfolding on a large screen.

An outsider asked,

"Who's fighting?"

"The Raitei Legion and the Decussate Star Legion. Those Transcendent Space bastards are causing trouble again; this time, they're targeting us."

"What's the result?"

"I heard the Raitei Legion suffered heavy losses, but the Decussate Star Legion didn't fare much better; neither side gained much."

"That's true."

"The Raitei Legion is a top-tier Legion in Hyperdimensional Space, after all."

...

The Nova Legion and the Raitei Legion were renowned; they were top-tier Legions in Hyperdimensional Space, boasting numerous powerful individuals from Tier 1 to the highest ranks.

Equally famous were the Iron Throne Legion and the Diamond Legion. Mei hadn't encountered the Iron Throne Legion, but the Diamond Legion was the wealthiest.

Compared to other top Legions, the Diamond Legion was more like a merchant organization; they preferred trade to combat.

The United Bank had Diamond Legion shares; Mei's unnamed credit card was issued by United Bank.

Mei hadn't returned to the Earth universe because she wanted to gather intelligence on Transcendent Space; the space's guide didn't contain relevant information.

Tier 1 Void Wanderers knew little about Transcendent Space and Transcenders; this wasn't a secret among higher-level Void Wanderers.

Higher-Grade Void Wanderers had more opportunities to encounter Transcenders; from Tier 2 onwards, Void Wanderers gradually came into contact with Transcenders.

The information wasn't difficult to obtain.

Mei bought a data pad, connected to the void city's network, and, following an older user's advice, accessed a forum filled with strategies and intelligence.

She was stunned upon seeing the forum; she hadn't expected something like this to exist; it was remarkably advanced and information-rich.

She then found a lot of information about Transcendent Space and Transcenders, including details about traitors who couldn't be detected by the space, preventing Elimination Missions from being triggered.

Thus,

Mei understood; the robed youth was likely a traitor. Void Wanderers and Transcenders stabbing each other in the back was already bad enough.

Now, with the addition of Werewolf, the situation became even more precarious.

This encouraged more Void Wanderers to join Legions; Lone Wolves were easily betrayed and faced immense risks when facing Transcenders and traitors.

"So, want to join our Legion? It's not as large as the big ones, but it's better than going solo; the intelligence and benefits are decent."

An older, jovial man sat before Mei, drinking from a cup. This man was Explosives; Mei traded a drink for his intelligence.

"Thanks."

Mei stated directly, "I prefer to be alone."

Explosives chuckled, then left.

"Change your mind, you know where to find me; the Legion needs people."

After resting in the void for several days, Mei returned to the Earth universe. Time resumed its flow. She was still traveling through interstellar space with Gamma, heading to the next galaxy.

The Star Spirit hunters hung over them like the Sword of Damocles, threatening to strike at any moment, erasing them from this universe.

Mei was powerful, possessing numerous trump cards, but she still felt a strong sense of danger, unsure of the Earth universe's true strength.

She had eliminated a Tier 5 Star Spirit hunter; who knew if the next would be Tier 6, or even more terrifying—a Tier 7 being? It depended on the power behind the Star Spirit hunters; anything was possible. Faced with immense danger, they could only fight without fear.

Mei had no choice.

To quickly increase her power, Mei and Gamma systematically destroyed galaxies, harvesting tokens from the faith marker shop.

However, galaxies near the Milky Way were relatively small; destroying a small galaxy yielded few tokens, but the universe contained countless galaxies.

...

Simultaneously,

From an unimaginable distance, within a void rift, in silent starlight, thoughts stirred within a dark expanse.

"Two Star Spirits have appeared in the Milky Way."

"A Tier 5 Star Spirit hunter has perished."

"Both Star Spirits possess faith markers and are openly destroying galaxies, likely harvesting tokens to oppose us."

"They cannot be allowed to continue growing stronger."

"This is Gaia's command. This universe has no need for Star Spirits; this is their own doing."

"Understood. I'll go. Even a Tier 5 Star Spirit hunter failed; we must act. It's also time to eliminate some of them."

"Don't send a clone."

"Don't worry, I'll go myself."

With that,

Tzzt!

A crimson saber, radiating a red glow, cleaved through spacetime. A white-haired man calmly stepped into the rift, then vanished.

Across the cosmos,

One glittering starlight after another vanished as Mei, having reached Tier 5, effortlessly destroyed galaxies, even without using Super Burst.

From an immense distance, star energy rippled; energy fluctuations instantly reduced a galaxy tens of light-years away to fundamental particles.

All civilizations and life within that galaxy were instantly returned to the cosmos; all faith marker holders perished; token notifications flooded in.

[Tokens Acquired: 5000]

[Tokens Acquired: 20000]

[Tokens Acquired: 150000]

[Tokens Acquired: 200000]

[Remaining Tokens: 9,500,000,000]

Numerous large and small galaxies existed near the Milky Way. Small galaxies might only have one billion stars; large ones like Andromeda could have over a trillion.

Small galaxies rarely supported civilizations and life; faith marker holders were scarce; destroying an entire small galaxy yielded few tokens.

The Andromeda galaxy, 2.54 million light-years away, provided Mei with her biggest single token haul; upon its destruction, Mei acquired 4 billion tokens.

The Milky Way had only yielded 1.1 billion tokens.

The universe was cruel and dark; the glittering starlight only illuminated the bright side, ignoring the fragility of civilizations and life.

A massive gamma-ray burst might instantly turn galaxies into lifeless voids, without mercy.

Mei had been cautious since entering the Milky Way, but impending danger never wavered due to personal actions or will.

If the universe wanted to kill you, it would, leaving no room for escape. With the Star Spirit hunters approaching, she was forced to gamble.

Previously, she had only eliminated faith marker holders within a 5 light-year radius. She wouldn't needlessly destroy other civilizations and life.

But she didn't have that luxury now. To face the Earth universe's Star Spirit hunters, she had to destroy galaxies indiscriminately.

To acquire massive tokens.

This was a battle for survival; mercy wasn't allowed.

Gamma also understood the situation's gravity; discarding his fear and hesitation, he bravely harvested tokens, though far fewer than Mei due to the significant difference in their strength.

One day,

While traversing the cosmos, Mei suddenly felt a sharp sense of danger, realizing the Star Spirit hunters were approaching. She paused, opening the faith marker shop to purchase items.

The great battle loomed.

Gamma also opened the faith marker shop, preparing for battle. Honestly, he'd never spent so lavishly; his massive token balance was rapidly depleted purchasing abilities and equipment.

Streams of light appeared before Gamma; his purchases arrived instantly.

Plenty of ammunition!

Mei didn't need much in terms of equipment and items; Spacetime crystals provided ultimate defense, and Limit Break and Super Burst were her strongest attacks.

She planned to focus on developing her Star Spirit abilities; she had invested so many tokens, she couldn't stop now.

Star Spirit abilities had immense potential; they had, after all, single-handedly challenged powerful cosmic races across countless universes.

Tier 7 items typically started at 1 billion; the highest price was 10 billion, but the faith marker shop's pricing was drastically different.

Tier 7 item prices exploded to 100 billion and up; top-tier Tier 7 items cost as much as 1 trillion, an astronomical sum.

This was understandable; Tier 7 was considered cosmic-level.

Mei had her eye on a Tier 7 item but couldn't afford it yet; it was sold in four parts, each costing 250 billion; only the complete item was functional.

[Unified Force Form・Gravitation Ascension]

[Unified Force Form・Electromagnetism Ascension]

[Unified Force Form・Strong Force Ascension]

[Unified Force Form・Weak Force Ascension]

By acquiring these four legacies, Star Spirits could evolve into the Unified Force Form, resulting in an explosive increase in combat strength.

Clearly,

Mei's Remaining Tokens were far from sufficient; she couldn't afford even one of the four legacies, only able to gaze longingly at the prices.

Furthermore,

She didn't need much preparation; the Fundamental Core provided protection; she had placed it in the Planck membrane upon returning to the Earth universe.

Closing the faith marker shop,

Mei felt an intense surge of danger.

"Here it comes!"

In an instant,

Boom!

A massive, unheralded strike tore through spacetime, instantly sucking Gamma into the spatial rift.

"Damn it…"

The battle began, and he was instantly eliminated, vanishing into the rift. Death wasn't guaranteed, but his destination was unknown.

If not for the spacetime energy barrier deflecting the attack, Mei wouldn't have survived. Undeniably, the attacker was immensely powerful.

Without hesitation,

Boom!

Mei activated Limit Break, reaching Tier 6. If Tier 5 power could destroy a galaxy, Tier 6 was capable of destroying clusters of galaxies.

Even at the entry-level of Tier 6, Mei could instantly obliterate hundreds of galaxies.

She hadn't used Limit Break to reach Tier 6 to increase her token acquisition speed purely out of caution; Limit Break had a cooldown period.

If an enemy attacked during the cooldown, things would be problematic.

The cosmos trembled.

It seemed,

This person was far more formidable than she had imagined.

Mei was incredibly surprised to see this familiar face; she had suspected Star Silver possessed star-level combat power, but it was far beyond her expectations.

"Star Silver?"

"Fate, wouldn't you say?"

Star Silver's battle intent was fierce, his aura no weaker than Mei's, perhaps even stronger. This confirmed his genuine Tier 6 strength!

He smiled, "I said we'd meet again, after our first encounter on Earth."

Time was short.

After her surprise, Mei decisively struck first.

Terrifying power, capable of destroying galaxy clusters, erupted; immense star energy enveloped interstellar space, as if intending to obliterate the entire universe.

Star Silver smirked.

Crimson light flashed across the deep cosmos; an invisible blade cleaved through space across millions of light-years, relentlessly targeting Mei.

Mei was undeterred, shattering the space-cleaving strike with a punch. Star energy erupted, destroying millions of light-years of galaxies.

Token notifications flooded in, but Mei ignored them.

Colliding spacetime and raging star energy created a massive gamma-ray burst, annihilating everything in its path.

Gazing at the cosmos, a blinding light filled the void; any civilization witnessing this light knew destruction had arrived.

Gamma-ray bursts would incinerate planets into magma; no ordinary life could survive. The star energy shockwave would reduce planets to cosmic dust.

Even spreading tens of millions of light-years away, the chaotic star energy caused massive effects; some stars burned more intensely after absorbing vast amounts of star energy;

Others collapsed due to the loss of star energy, transforming into white dwarfs, neutron stars, or even black holes.
