(Brutalus POV)
"Did he answer yet?" I asked Malenia as we sat in the carriage, "Rykard that is."
"No, My Lord." She said as she sat in front of me, "After dozens of Recusants, he has been silent."
We were riding for Raya Lucaria, yet again. This was after 2 weeks of being in Liurna, I had learned that my wife wanted Baeron back home so I sent him back. Kristoff and Siluria had escorted the boy back with Smarag following.
Now, I was alone with Malenia, and we were on our way to speak to Rennala.
I had also dug around and found a clue that'll point me in the direction of Ranni's body; Mt. Gelmir. Her body is somewhere there. Hopefully, Rykard doesn't have it, that'll be weird.
I told Ranni to speak some sense to her mother, for Rennala to accept my offer. Ranni is dead serious about trying to prevent this world from being destroyed by this massive war that'll happen. I don't know why or how, but both Ranni and Marika had the same vision; a Great War, bigger and crazier than the Shattering will happen.
Marika told me my children, like hers in the past, would be major figures. This just comes full circle, huh? Demigods taking part in massive wars, that is.
"I guess he's thinking of his next move." I said, "As for me, I've been set on my next move for a while. Rennala will be mine today."
Malenia looked at me, "Don't you think this is against what you've said before?" She asked, "Forgive my impudence, but you said you wanted her to do this on her own volition. Rennala has been pretty adamant about defying you."
"She's lonely." I said, "I know she wants a man inside her, I can tell. Well, maybe not literally, but she needs companionship."
"If you want her to be your concubine and have her rule over Liurna in your stead, wouldn't that just leave her in the same situation?" She continued, "You'll return to Leyndell with your wife, Queen Marika, and you'll leave her alone. How will be any different?"
I smiled slightly, "Thought about this, huh?" I said, "Yea, maybe that's true. But I'll give all my concubines attention, Malenia. Have I not pleasured all of you consistently? I do not neglect anyone. I can always make trips down here."
She nodded, "Of course, I should've thought." She said, "My apologies."
"No worries." I said before feeling the carriage stop,
"We're here."

"So, you're here." Rennala said as she sat down in her seat as I stood in front of her
"Yes, I am." I said
She had a serious look on her face, almost as she was contemplating this decision. She had made it, nevertheless, and there was no going back.
"Hm..." she said, "You are fortunate, Brutalus. My daughter spoke some sense into me...."
I rubbed my hair, "Don't think a fool out of me." I said, "If you really think I'll let my guard down for your son to strike, You are sorely mistaken. If you care for your children, I'm afraid I'll use them as hostages. Wouldn't want them to die again, would you?"
She closed her eyes, "Ranni showed me the future." She said, "War is looming. There is no need to be at each other's throats. I must do what must be done....I shall accept your offer...."
I walked over to her and leaned down, "When I first met you, well, after the fight I had...." I said, "I felt bad for you. A lonely woman that was abandoned by her husband and believed her children dead...."
I saw her beautiful blue eyes looking back at me, they were full of sadness still, but that part hadn't changed even after the Reshaping; her children were no longer near her and she is alone. Maybe I could change that, give her a child that won't abandon her.
"What are you trying to say?" She said with a serious tone, "You pity me? You do this out of said pity?"
I nodded, "Perhaps." I said, "Maybe I still feel bad for you...."
I gently placed my hand on her cheek, feeling the soft skin of the Carian Queen.
"Get it over with." She closed her eyes, "Take my body if you wish."
I ran my hand towards her hair, beautiful and lush.
"You know, Sellen has a similar appearance to you." I said, "Beautiful black hair, breathtaking blue eyes, and amazingly pale skin...But you're on a whole other level."
I stroked her hair with my finger as I felt her shift nervously; I could tell she was feeling something from this.
"Hmm..." She said as she looked at me
"Rennala, I do not promise being here at all times." I said as I took a step back, "But what I do promise is this; a child that won't abandon you."
She frowned, "What?" She said
"I don't wish to force you, Carian Queen." I told her as I removed my shirt, "But if I am to claim Liurna and its forces as part of my Kingdom, then I ask you this once..."
"Ask me what?" Rennala said as I saw her blush slightly
She was blushing at the sight of my bare torso, seeing the well-toned abs of steel that I had, even the slight scars that were a reminder of my intense battles before my ascendancy.
"Shall you be mine?" I said, "Shall you be the mother of my child; a new Demigod that'll shake this world to its core?"
Rennala looked at me, "If my child stays at my side at all times...Queen Marika will have no problem with it?" She asked me
I nodded, "Marika will understand." I said, "Any child of my concubines is also the child of my Queen, but in this case, she can always make an exception."
Rennala looked down, "Very well." She said as she stood up, "I shall humbly accept this, Brutalus. Only if my child shall inherit my knowledge and I can be with them at all times...."
I smiled, "I give you my word." I said
She looked at me, "I understand.." She said as she slowly began to strip, "My body is yours, then....I.....wish for you to keep that word."
I saw as her beautiful bare body was revealed, her amazing curves and large breasts were immediately aroused me. Her pale skin glistened to the light of the candles in the room, her thighs were watering my mouth as I laid my eyes on them.
She covered her breasts with her arms as she blushed, looking down as she nervously shifted in her feet.
I walked over and gently wrapped my arm around her waist, "So, this is your answer?" I asked, "Do you want this?"
She nodded slowly, "Yes, I do." She said, "I want this, Lord Brutalus..."
