Poisoning someone was pretty common from the very beginning. Eunuch Liu speaks before we enter the gate of Royal Concubine Qin's manor.
"Your Majesty, you have to expect the unexpected. You should be careful. We didn't know the purpose of why one of the royal concubines was suddenly poisoned," he whispers.
I simply smirk. "I am aware of the reason why they're doing this, Uncle. That's why I'm ready to change the course of their story," I whispered softly.
I turn my head and meet his gaze. I saw how worried and serious his expression was. "They need to know that I became softer for our people and the innocent lives that they're trying to destroy, but for those who walked the same path as her before, they're now my target," I assert, whispering.
