Chapter 33 - Chapter 33 *** The web of lies

Panic surged through Amanda's veins as she grabbed her phone and dialed her manager's number.

"Post an article immediately," she ordered, her voice sharp with urgency.

Her manager hesitated. "What do you want me to post?"

"Say that the father of my child is none other than Zamiel, the CEO of Star Entertainment!" Amanda declared.

Her manager's breath hitched. "Are you sure about this? That is a dangerous claim."

Amanda clenched her jaw. "Just do it! Even if I have already gotten rid of the pregnancy, no one knows that. It will cause chaos, and Zamiel will have no choice but to take responsibility."

There was a moment of silence before her manager finally agreed. "Fine, I will handle it."

As soon as the call ended, Amanda smirked. Let us see how Zamiel deals with this.

Zamiel's Fury

In his office, Zamiel sat back in his chair, twirling a sleek black pen between his fingers. His mind was occupied with thoughts about Hazel when his secretary suddenly burst through the door.

"Sir! You need to see this!" she said, breathless, as she handed him a phone.

Zamiel's eyes narrowed as he read the headline:

"The Real Father of Actress Amanda's Child is None Other than CEO Zamiel of Star Entertainment!"

His grip on the phone tightened, and his jaw clenched in anger.

"This woman… does she have a death wish?" he muttered under his breath.

Looking up at his secretary, he ordered, "Get rid of that post immediately."

His secretary nodded. "I will handle it right away."

As the secretary left, Zamiel leaned back, his mind racing. Amanda… you have crossed the line.

Amanda's Mother's Sinister Plan

At the Stephen Mansion, Amanda's mother sat on a luxurious couch, scrolling through her phone. When she saw the headline, a sly smirk curled on her lips.

What a clever daughter I have, she thought proudly.

Satisfied, she put her phone down and walked toward the kitchen. From a small compartment in the drawer, she pulled out a tiny glass bottle filled with a mysterious white powder. Holding it up to the light, she chuckled to herself.

"Blindness is not such a bad thing," she whispered with amusement.

Carefully, she opened the bottle and sprinkled a small amount into the dish she was preparing for Hazel's father.

Soon… everything will be in place.
