Brooke felt all eyes on her throughout the blocking session for her first scene. She had tried to pour most of her concentration into memorizing the position of the cameras, but the side talks and obvious gazes kept jabbing at her focus.
"Cut!" Director Flynn yelled from his high chair, he dropped his mega phone on the table next to him and signalled Brooke over.
Keeping her head down she walked over, her finger twisting her hair. "Director-"
"I told you that I don't have the time to train any rookies, this movie is scheduled to release at the end of the year. That's less than four months from now." He explained, giving Brooke new information.
"But why?" She raised her head.
"Our analysts projected that if we release this film any later it'll lose its relevance. We need to strike now while the iron is still hot." He folded his arms across his chest, "And that means you need to pull your shit together."
