It wasn't just the eyes on her that wouldn't let Brooke focus, it was also the concept of blocking. She has always just memorized the lines and poured them into the emotions she interpreted the scene needed.
But having to keep in mind the camera positions while acting made her feel stiff, and she found herself messing up a lot. For one, she hadn't been walking for more than a decade, and two, she had never once received any professional acting training, so naturally she fell behind.
"Hey Brooke, let's take a break." Amy, a camera staff said, passing Brooke a bottle of water.
Brooke smiled weakly, "I can still do one more take, I'm starting to get the hang of it."
But Joan, another staff member gently shook her head from side to side, "Come on, you'll wear yourself out doing this. You'll get it right, you just need to clear your head."
