Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: [Prisoner's Dilemma] An Obvious Scam

Rabbit Ears was also nearby, laughing coquettishly as she asked, "Little brother, what did you do in your first game to be so valued by the Main God, sending you into our round?"

Yu Tu glanced around. Everyone wore friendly expressions, smiling warmly, waiting for his answer.

Yu Tu was well aware that this group had silently reached a consensus — let me die.

In such a situation, Yu Tu was more than happy to comply. Among a group of strong players, being the most obvious weakling wasn't necessarily a bad thing!

His eyes began to shift evasively, and he said in a timid tone, "I... my last game was 'Divide the Ball'..."

Yu Tu didn't lie in the slightest. He described the last game in complete detail — just swapped the roles. In his version, he and the glasses-wearing man had switched places.

"After the game ended, a voice told me that I performed well and awarded me twenty exchange coins."

Xing Chen laughed loudly, "Brother, what good luck! To win lying down, I'm jealous!"

"Yeah, you lay flat last time. But what about this time? I'm a newbie. I wonder if the bigshots here have any advice on how to help a newbie win while lying down?"

Hao Zi patted Yu Tu's shoulder. "Don't worry, bro. This time, Big Brother's got your back!"

"Let's talk about the game — what's the plan this time?" asked King Kong.

Xing Chen pointed to the tin house labeled "Battle and Peace Pavilion" and said, "What's the rush? We've got four hours of discussion time, and only half an hour has passed."

Yu Tu walked over to the "Battle and Peace Pavilion" and tugged at the metal door — it didn't budge an inch.

"Don't bother. That thing only opens after four hours. Once it does, that's when we settle life or death."

"Four hours? That long?"

Rabbit Ears giggled. "It's the happy time before we die. Four hours — long? Let's see, we've got five men and two women. How should we split? Alright, Folded Paper, I'll take a loss — King Kong, the hunk, is yours. Then you can pick one more, and I'll take the other three."

Folded Paper shot Rabbit Ears a cold look. "Take them all. I'm going back to my room. I'll come out when time's up."

Before leaving, she pointed at Hao Zi. "If you're going to sleep, go to the dead guy's room!"

Rabbit Ears clicked her tongue and wiped the blood off her face. "Aiya, I'm going for a shower. Anyone interested is welcome to join."

With that, she sashayed into the en suite bathroom.

Overlord jiggled the chains on his body, an evil grin spreading across his face. "You guys keep chatting. I'm going to go entertain that chick!"

Yu Tu asked in shock, "Aren't you afraid she'll say no again?"

Overlord scoffed. "With me, she has no choice but to agree!"

Before long, some moaning came from the bathroom, followed by the sound of running water.

Hao Zi tilted his ear and listened for a while, smacking his lips. "Tsk tsk, those two really went at it!"

Then, Xing Chen and King Kong exchanged glances and headed into a room together…

Yu Tu was stunned. "They... them too?"

Hao Zi almost spat out blood. "What are you thinking? They went to have a private talk!"

Then he pointed slyly at the bathroom. "That's a different kind of 'talk.'"

"Oh, oh, Hao-ge, now that everyone's off doing their own thing, how do I make it through this round?"

Hao Zi looked around cautiously, then whispered mysteriously, "Not safe to talk here. Come to the room; we'll talk in private."

He pulled Yu Tu into the dead guy's room, and with a grunt, shoved the headless corpse under the bed with the bedsheet. "That slutty bunny won't come here after she's done. It's safest to talk here."

Yu Tu blinked. "Big bro, what's the plan?"

"Let me confirm again — you really won by lying down last game?"

"Yep, I did!"

"And you got twenty exchange coins as a reward after lying down?"

"Sure did!"

"You're a newbie, so you probably wouldn't lie to me. Then I can confirm one thing!" Hao Zi said firmly. "You've got the 'Lay-Down Win' title!"

"'Lay-Down Win' title? What does it do?"

"When someone carries you to a win, you get extra exchange coins, and the person who carries you gets even more. That's why you got extra last time."

"So... magical?"

Hao Zi gave him a confirming slap on the shoulder. "Your luck's off the charts. No matter what instance you go into from now on, there'll be pros eager to carry you."

Yu Tu beamed. "Then I'll be counting on you this time, Hao-ge!"

"Don't worry, don't worry."

"So... how exactly are you planning to carry me this time?"

"Simple. You and I team up in the 'Battle and Peace Game.' We both pick 'Peace' every round. Do it five times, and we'll get five points. Then we won't be the lowest."

Yu Tu sneered inwardly but kept a confused look. "But if the others all team up too and pick 'Peace' five times, won't we still be the lowest?"

Hao Zi waved him off. "There are seven of us—we can only make three pairs. One person's left out. In the end, that guy dies."

"Hao-ge makes sense—"
