It took some time, but Felix was able to calm Brooklyn down. Her trembling had gone down a bit.
This was the first time that Felix saw Brooklyn that terrified. What kind of nightmare was it that it managed to shake her up like that?
Felix continued assuring Brooklyn that she wasn't alone, he was there with her. That seemed to help Brooklyn, who was lying on his chest, to drift off to sleep.
Felix adjusted the blanket over their bodies. He caressed her tear striken face, pecked her forehead, then closed his eyes to catch some sleep as well.

At the Hospital
The patient's mother sobbed uncontrollably upon seeing the sorry state her daughter was in. Nora, the unconscious patient was unfortunately in a coma. The doctor wasn't sure as to when she'd wake up or if she'd ever wake up.
"My baby." Louise sniffled. "How could this happen to you?"
"We'll get back at them for putting her through so much pain. I'll make sure of that!"
Louise wiped her tears away. She nodded her head in agreement, determined to get back at them.

"Is my face that captivating?" Felix asked, opening his eyes to face Brooklyn who had been staring at him for a while now.
Brooklyn smiled at him. She shifted from her previous sleeping position, moving her body to completely lie on top of his body.
"You can't blame me though."
Felix chuckled. He placed his hands around Brooklyn's waist, successfully flipping her around, pinning her down to the bed with him on top of her.
"So, my face is the only thing you like about me?" He caressed her face.
Brooklyn pulled his face closer to hers with a few inches separating their lips. "That's the only thing, yes."
Brooklyn looked between his eyes and lips.
"I see."
"Just k..."
Felix didn't let her finish her sentence. He was quick to smash his lips with hers.
