A crisp slap echoed through the air. Kaguya's eyes widened in disbelief.
Did… did he just hit her?
A human actually dared lay a hand on her?
"You court death!"
Her voice was low and icy. She tried to attack Mirai on the spot—but her body refused to move. It was as if she were trapped under a crushing weight, pinned in place by an overwhelming gravitational force.
Mirai's voice was calm. "Kaguya, Black Zetsu is dead. I killed him."
"Impossible," she snapped coldly.
Black Zetsu was her creation—formed from her own will. Only a power that matched her Kekkei Mōra technique could even hope to harm him.
Even Hagoromo and Hamura, who once wrested the Ten Tails from her, hadn't been able to kill him.
Seeing that Kaguya still didn't believe him, Mirai let his chakra flare for just a moment.
The sheer magnitude of it made Kaguya's jaw drop.

As the shock registered on her face, Mirai spoke again, still calm.
"Now… are you ready to listen?"

She couldn't understand it. No native of the shinobi world, no matter how powerful—even if they absorbed the Ten Tails—should be capable of surpassing her.
"Your era is over, Kaguya. It's time you turned your eyes to the future."
"I'll deal with the Ōtsutsuki pursuers chasing you down."
That revelation made Kaguya flinch.
"You know about that?"

A space-time portal opened, and Mirai stepped through into the Hokage's office, followed by Hyūga Hinata and the others.
Everyone had been anxiously awaiting news. When they saw both Hinata and Hanabi safe and sound, the tension in the room eased.

But when Tsunade and the others laid eyes on Kaguya, their brows furrowed with confusion.

Mirai sat down in his seat and addressed Kaguya with authority.
"Kaguya, explain the structure of the Ōtsutsuki Clan."
His tone made her bristle, but in her current position, there wasn't much she could do. Begrudgingly, she complied.
"The Ōtsutsuki Clan lives far from this world, in a star system many light-years away. Their survival depends on harvesting energy from planets."
"Their society is divided into two castes—Highborn and Guardians. The Highborn hold absolute authority."
"They live on two sister planets known as the Twin Stars."
"There aren't many of them—fewer than ten thousand—but every single Ōtsutsuki is unimaginably powerful."
"They also possess numerous divine tools, artifacts that dramatically enhance their combat abilities..."
Kaguya went on to explain much about her clan, things even Mirai—despite being a transmigrant—hadn't known.
"Tell me, Kaguya," Mirai asked, "Is it true the Ōtsutsuki have a god among them?"
Her eyes widened slightly. "You even know about that?"
Mirai's expression didn't change.
"Answer me."
Tch. How annoying.
Kaguya clenched her fists. Ever since she had descended into the shinobi world, no one had dared speak to her like this.
But when she remembered the sharp, stinging slap from earlier, she swallowed her pride.
"There is a being worshipped within the Ōtsutsuki Clan—one said to exist only in legend. His name is Ōtsutsuki Shibai."
"They say he was once a great pioneer of the clan—an existence that could destroy worlds."
"No one's ever seen him in person. But every hundred years, the clan is required to offer up half their chakra fruit as tribute."
"He's considered a true god—one who transcends all things."
That was all Kaguya knew. As a Guardian, she'd only ever heard fragments of the myth from her elders.
To her, it had always been just a story.
But Mirai knew better.
Ōtsutsuki Shibai was real.
And what shocked him most… was that Shibai was still absorbing chakra fruit—still growing stronger even now.
A chill ran through him.
Thank the heavens for the infinite point-allocation system he possessed.
Without it, there was no way he'd ever stand a chance against a being like Shibai.
As Mirai fell silent, deep in thought, tension rippled through the room.
Even gods had gods.
And the god behind the Ōtsutsuki… might be the most terrifying of them all.
