Bernardo's reaction sent Ed into an abyss.
"Kill them together."
Though he had no idea why Bai Fu had suddenly appeared in Zone C, he still issued a kill order to the fierce beast mutant by his side.
Ed screamed in panic, "Bernardo, are you going to kill me too? Without me, the potential potion couldn't possibly be researched so quickly, and Julia's abilities would've remained undecrypted!"
Bernardo's expression was icy, unmoved.
The situation was in chaos, and the Truth Society was in decline; he no longer wanted to waste any more time and wished to kill Bai Fu as quickly as possible, even if that meant Ed would die.
Ed read the resolution in Bernardo's eyes. Seeing that pleading was futile here, he could only beg Black Fu for mercy.
"Don't kill me, I'll exchange the Chairman's secret for my life, and this secret concerns your very survival."
Black Fu hesitated for a moment but still wrapped Ed in spiritual ability protection just as the fierce beast mutant charged at him.
