3rd POV

"Why would a slut like you be Georgie's girlfriend?!" a girl's angry voice rang out as she glared at the girl in front of her, Veronica.

"Yeah! You don't deserve him! Don't you realize you're just bringing him down?" another girl chimed in, her tone full of resentment.

Veronica smirked, unfazed by their hostility. "Oh? Is it because Georgie doesn't give you any attention?" she taunted, letting out a scoff. Then, she crossed her arms and added smugly, "This body belongs to Georgie! Only he gets to touch it!"

She was beyond proud that she had won Georgie over these girls. His song for her had made her feel deeply loved, and the feeling was mutual—Veronica was completely in love with Georgie.

"You bitch!" Jana Boggs shouted, raising her hand to slap Veronica.

Veronica saw it coming, but instead of flinching, she simply smirked. There was no fear in her eyes—after all, Georgie was standing right behind them.

"...Ladies," Georgie spoke up, his voice calm yet firm. "Don't hurt my girlfriend… please?" A charming smile played on his lips as he effortlessly caught Jana's wrist before her slap could land.

"Wha… Georgie?!" Jana and Lisa spun around in shock, only to see Georgie towering behind them. A flicker of fear crossed their faces.

Rumors about Georgie's fighting skills had spread far and wide. They had no doubt he could take them down if he wanted to, and that thought alone made them hesitant. Not like they don't know that Georgie is a Gentleman.

Veronica took the opportunity to walk past them and wrap her arms around Georgie.

"…Are you alright?" Georgie asked softly.

She simply nodded in response.

"…Hufft… it's really hard being your girlfriend…" Veronica sighed, but despite her words, a bright smile remained on her face.

Just as Georgie was about to say something else, a hesitant voice cut through the air.

"G-Georgie… c-could you let go of my hand…?" Jana stammered, her wrist still caught in his grip.

"Oh, right," Georgie said nonchalantly, releasing her. Jana and the other girls stared at him in disbelief, watching as he effortlessly smiled again.

"Sorry, girls… but Veronica is my girlfriend now," Georgie declared, pulling Veronica closer into his embrace. "Can't you try to be friends with her instead of making her your enemy? I'd really appreciate it if you did…"

At that moment, six girls stood before Georgie, all gathered with the same intention—to confront Veronica for daring to date their Georgie.

Veronica had already figured out who they were. These girls are members of Georgie's fan club.

"Why?!" Jana suddenly burst out, unable to accept reality. "Why her, Georgie?!"

Jana and the others had noticed Veronica's growing closeness with Georgie, but at first, they had brushed it off as nothing serious. They thought Georgie was just playing around with her.

But then the rumors started—whispers that Georgie and Veronica were actually dating. And now, faced with the truth, they refused to accept it.

"Everyone knows she's a slut! Why would you date her?! Tell me it's just a rumor!" Jana demanded, her voice rising in desperation.

Lisa, who had been standing beside her, also shot Veronica a glare. She had tried to approach Georgie in class before, hoping to confirm whether the rumor was true, but Georgie himself had shut it down—telling her directly that Veronica was his girlfriend.

"No. She is my girlfriend." Georgie said firmly before placing a soft kiss on Veronica's forehead.

Feeling the warmth of his lips, Veronica grinned widely—both out of happiness and to rub it in the other girls' faces.

But then, she frowned and pinched Georgie's arm.

"...Why are you kissing my forehead?!" she huffed.

Before Georgie could react, Veronica pulled him in, wrapping her arms around his neck and capturing his lips in a deep kiss.

Of course, Georgie didn't resist. He kissed her right back.

Jana, Lisa, and the other girls could only watch, their anger bubbling at the sight of Veronica shamelessly kissing their Georgie.

"STOP KISSING HIM, YOU SLUT!" Lisa snapped, gritting her teeth. 'I'm so jealous!! I want to kiss him too!!' she screamed internally.

Unable to hold back any longer, Jana stormed toward them, determined to break them apart.

"Wha—mmph!", Before Georgie could even process what was happening, another pair of lips pressed against his.

Jana had stolen a kiss from him.

Her arms wrapped around his neck as she held onto him, making her intentions crystal clear.

Veronica froze for a moment, her mind blank.

Then—

"YOU BITCH!!"

Without hesitation, Veronica yanked Jana away from Georgie and slapped her.

*SLAP!

The sharp sound echoed through the empty parking lot. With most students already in class, the area was quiet enough that the impact of the slap rang out loud and clear.

Jana stumbled and fell to the ground, stunned.

The other girls, witnessing the scene unfold, stood frozen. They didn't know who to side with.

They had come here as part of Team Jana, but seeing Jana outright kiss Georgie in front of his girlfriend? That was humiliating.

Georgie, on the other hand, had barely processed what had just happened.

His eyes flickered between the two girls, and when he saw Veronica's expression—pure fury—he quickly reached for her.

"Hey, hey!" Georgie grabbed her wrist, trying to pull her away from Jana. "Easy, girl!"

Then, he glanced at the other girls and subtly signaled them to take Jana away.

"Let me go, Georgie! I'm gonna hit her again!!" Veronica growled, struggling in his grasp.

"Veronica, calm down…" Georgie murmured, pulling her into a tight embrace.

Jana slowly got to her feet, her lips curling into a smirk as she scoffed at Veronica.

That was all Georgie needed to see.

His usual easy-going demeanor vanished as he fixed a cold stare on her.

"Jana," he called her name, his voice calm yet carrying a weight of finality.

Veronica turned to look at him, surprised by the shift in his tone.

"My girlfriend is Veronica," Georgie stated firmly. "I love her, and I don't want you or anyone else interfering with that. I hope you understand."

Then, his expression darkened.

"I hate to say this… but I'm a gentleman. I don't hit women, and I never will," he continued.

"But if anything happens to her…"

He didn't need to finish his sentence.

The threat in his voice was clear.

Jana met Georgie's gaze and, for the first time, found herself at a loss. Her pride crumbled as she lowered her head.

"...I'm sorry," she whispered, barely audible—but both Georgie and Veronica heard her.

Veronica scoffed, still clinging to Georgie as she muttered, "Hmph."

Then, in front of all of them, she leaned in and kissed him again.

The girls glared at her in silent fury, but her next words only made them seethe with embarrassment.

"That kiss was to erase her lips off of you!" Veronica huffed, shooting Jana a disdainful look.

Georgie chuckled, amused by her fiery attitude.

"…My girl is feisty… and naughty, too," he mused, pulling her even closer. He didn't care about the glares from the other girls.

Jana bit her lip in frustration but held herself back.

Meanwhile, Veronica smirked in satisfaction, wrapping her arms around Georgie's neck once more.

"Girls... I'd love to be your friend, and so would Veronica. I want her to have friends at this school too," Georgie said with a warm smile.

The girls looked at Georgie, his warm smile making them flustered. "Yes! I'd love to be your friend!" Lisa said eagerly, looking at Georgie.

Better to befriend him than be on his bad side. The other girls nodded in agreement, even Jana, though she was still seething—especially with her cheek stinging and turning red from the slap.

"Veronica…" Georgie turned to her.

"What?" Veronica replied with irritation. She already knew what Georgie wanted, but she pretended not to, refusing to comply so easily.

"Come on… be a good girl for me," Georgie coaxed, his hand subtly sliding to a dangerous area. Veronica felt it and shot him a glare. "Hmph." She turned away, crossing her arms.

"I'm sorry for slapping you," Veronica muttered, but at that exact moment, Georgie gave her a firm squeeze on her ass—right in front of all the girls. Veronica pretended not to react, keeping her expression neutral as she faced them, but her face burned with embarrassment.

"Georgie is my boyfriend. I know you all like him…" She took a deep breath, trying to keep her voice steady. "But I love him, and I won't let him go."

Jana shot her a sharp look. "...I'm not giving up. I like Georgie too. You better hold on to him tight." she warned before turning and walking away.

"I will," Veronica muttered under her breath, watching Jana and the others leave.

"Stop it…" she whispered, her voice laced with both frustration and something else. She turned back to Georgie, who was grinning innocently.

"What?" he asked, feigning cluelessness about what he'd just done.

"….." Veronica wanted to slap that smug look off his face, but instead, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him deeply.

"Hmm…" she sighed against his lips as his hands roamed her body again, settling where they shouldn't.

"I hate you…" Veronica murmured after pulling away, resting her forehead against Georgie's chest, listening to the quickened beat of his heart.

"…Why do I love you so much…?" she whispered to herself.

Georgie didn't say anything. He didn't make any more inappropriate moves, just held her close, knowing she needed his warmth. His teasing earlier had only been to prove one thing—she was the only one he wanted.

Jana kissing him had clearly shaken Veronica, especially since Georgie hadn't immediately pushed her away. She knew many girls wanted him. But she couldn't step back—because she had already fallen too deep for Georgie.

"...Why do you do this to me?" Veronica asked, gazing up at him.

"Girl… you're mine," Georgie said, locking eyes with her. "All of you is mine. I stole your heart, and I'm never giving it back."

"...….Bastard…" Veronica mumbled, saying nothing more as they held each other in the parking lot, staying in their embrace until she calmed down.

3rd POV

"Sheldon, where is Georgie?" Mrs. Ingram asked, looking at the young boy sitting alone. Normally, Georgie would be by his side, keeping him in check so he wouldn't stir up trouble.

"I don't know," Sheldon replied flatly, expressionless as he looked at Mrs. Ingram.

"...Damn it," she muttered under her breath, realizing this was going to be a long day.

But to her surprise, Sheldon simply ignored her, scribbling something in his notebook—completely unrelated to her lesson.

He was still deep in thought about rocket propulsion. Of course, he wasn't outright ignoring Mrs. Ingram—he had simply already mastered today's lesson.

Mrs. Ingram glanced at him, still writing in his notebook.

"Huff…" she exhaled in relief.

At least Sheldon wasn't making comments about her teaching today.

Why did that feel like such a victory?

Well, one thing was certain—she was grateful for the silence, even if it was only because Georgie wasn't around.
