Georgie's POV
After what had happened earlier, Veronica and I decided to skip class. We were sitting in her car, eating ice cream together to help lighten her mood.
"…So you're telling me that I have fans?" I asked in disbelief, genuinely surprised since I had no clue about this. Especially considering this is America, where women are far more open compared to those in Asian countries.
I figured they'd just flirt with me directly rather than go through the trouble of forming a Georgie Club. The thought of it was amusing.
"...Stop smirking!" Veronica huffed when she saw the grin on my face.
"What?" I replied, feigning innocence.
"I know what you're thinking!" she accused before pinching my waist.
"Haha… come on, I seriously had no idea a club like that existed at our school!"
Veronica snorted. "That's because you're too dumb to notice!"
"What?! Did you just call me dumb?" I gasped in mock offense.
"What?" Veronica taunted, daring me to get mad.
"...Never mind." I muttered, glancing at her as she snorted again and took another bite of her ice cream.
"What?!" she asked again when she caught me smiling.
"No… I just liked it when you slapped that girl earlier." I admitted.
Veronica rolled her eyes. "I bet you liked it more when she kissed you."
"No," I countered smoothly. "I liked it more when I grabbed your ass."
I reached out and cupped her face, gently stroking her cheek as she pouted—but I could see the hint of a smile forming.
"...Georgie…" Veronica murmured, leaning into my touch.
She gazed at me, the spoon of ice cream still in her mouth, looking at me with seductive eyes—wordlessly asking me to kiss her.
I set my ice cream down on the dashboard and leaned in, pressing my lips against hers. The sweet taste of strawberry lingered in her mouth. I could taste the remnants of the ice cream on her lips… and her tongue.
Veronica didn't resist; instead, she melted into the kiss. The ice cream she was holding became a nuisance, so she set it aside on the dashboard as well. This time, she kissed me back with passion, her hands pulling me closer to keep our lips locked.
After a few heated seconds, she finally broke away, staring into my eyes.
"...Why are you so good at this?" she whispered breathlessly.
I smirked. "Are you wet?"
Her expression immediately shifted into an annoyed glare.
We'd only been dating for a few days, so of course, we hadn't taken that final step yet. Our relationship was still at the stage of kissing, hugging, and playful touches. But I knew Veronica wouldn't complain if we went further.
I looked at her—her short hair, her teasing lips. I had fallen in love with Veronica while watching her in the series. But now… I was falling for her for real.

Third-Person POV
Yes, Veronica was soaked.
And she hated how easily Georgie could turn her into a complete mess.
She was starting to think she might actually be a slut because of him. How could she get turned on so easily? By his voice when he sang to her? By the way he cupped her cheek and gazed at her with such sincerity?
"Stop laughing, bastard…" Veronica grumbled, shoving Georgie's shoulder as he giggled at her reaction.
"You know… I've been working on a new song," he suddenly said.
Veronica's eyes snapped to him instantly. "What song?! Is it for another girl?!"
"No…" Georgie answered, his tone more serious now. "It's about me… but it's not finished yet."
"Oh yeah? Can you sing it for me?" Veronica asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"Why?" Georgie deflected, shifting his attention to the ice cream in his hand.
"For now, it's just scribbles on paper…"
"Really?" Veronica squinted at him suspiciously.
"Yeah."
"Then let's hear it," she insisted, crossing her arms.
"...No, it's just random lyrics," Georgie protested.
"Let's. Hear. It." Her tone was sharp now, her gaze piercing into him.
Georgie's lips twitched. He sighed, realizing there was no way out of this.
"I don't have my guitar with me," he tried one last excuse.
But Veronica's eyes made it clear—she wasn't accepting any excuses.
"Huh…" Georgie exhaled, then turned to her with a smirk. His entire demeanor shifted—gone was the nervous, shy boy. Instead, he now wore an infuriatingly confident smirk.
"Don't fall for me too much, alright?"
Veronica's irritation flared. She knew he was just toying with her. He wasn't embarrassed about the song—he was stalling just to mess with her.
That cocky expression of his told her all she needed to know.
The song was good.
Georgie finally closed his eyes, preparing himself as if he could hear the melody in his head.
Then, he softly began to sing.
(Brett Young – In Case You Didn't Know)
"I can't count the times…"
His fingers moved through the air as if feeling the invisible notes.
"I almost said what's on my mind… But I didn't…"
He opened his eyes slightly and saw Veronica staring at him, her mouth slightly open.
"What?" Georgie chuckled at her expression.
"What are you doing?! Keep singing!" she snapped, completely ignoring his amusement.
"O-Okay," Georgie mumbled, still giggling at her reaction before closing his eyes again.
He imagined the right notes, the perfect melody.
"And just the other day…"
His fingers moved again, as if playing an imaginary piano. And somehow, Veronica felt it.
It was like she could hear the music in her mind. As if Georgie's gestures alone were making her imagine the sound.
She knew it sounded crazy, which is why she didn't say anything. She just… felt it.
"I wrote down all the things I'd say… But I couldn't… I just couldn't…"
His voice carried a deeper emotion, laced with frustration.
"Baby, I know… That you've been wondering…"
Veronica noticed how the tempo subtly changed.
"Mm… So here goes nothing…"
Georgie opened his eyes, locking onto hers.
"In case you didn't know… Baby, I'm crazy 'bout you…"
His hand gently cupped her cheek again, and Veronica couldn't help but smile.
"And I would be lying if I said… That I could live this life without you…"
A soft, dreamy expression crossed Veronica's face as her mind wandered.
She pictured a life with Georgie—having kids together, living in a beautiful countryside home, watching their children run and play in the fields.
"Even though I don't tell you all the time… You had my heart a long, long time ago…"
His voice was deep, raw and real.
Veronica felt it.
She gazed at him with nothing but love.
And she couldn't hold back anymore.
As Georgie sang the final words—"In case you didn't know…"—Veronica attacked his lips.
Not just a kiss.
She climbed onto his lap, straddling him, her arms wrapped tightly around his neck.
And this time, she wasn't letting go.
Georgie didn't stay idle either. His hands wandered over Veronica's body until they found a soft spot beneath her. He squeezed and played with it as he pleased.
"Mmm…" Veronica moaned into Georgie's embrace, but she didn't break the kiss.
Knock, knock…
A sudden knock on Veronica's car window startled them both. She quickly pulled away from Georgie and returned to her seat.
Georgie glanced at the window and saw a man he didn't recognize.
"What?" Georgie asked, irritated by the interruption.
Veronica lowered her head in embarrassment, realizing what they had just been doing—and more importantly, where they were doing it.
"...This is a park. There are kids around! Get a room!" the man scolded.
Georgie sighed as the reality sank in.
"Right… I apologize," he muttered, while Veronica hurriedly started the car to leave.
The man scoffed and walked away. Yeah… they had just become an unintentional spectacle for the children around—not exactly a kid-friendly scene.
Veronica smacked Georgie's arm, her face burning with shame. She was mortified by what had happened, but she was also annoyed at Georgie for making her lose control like that.
"What?" Georgie protested. "You're the one who jumped on me! I'm innocent here." He shrugged.
"Keep talking, and I'll drop you off right here!" Veronica shot back, glaring at him.
"Alright, alright… Let's go to RadioShack. Sheldon needs a computer with a modem so he can access NASA's FTP or something."
"Hmph!" Veronica huffed but drove off toward their destination.

3rd POV
"You're late!" Sheldon greeted Georgie with a disapproving look as he arrived with Veronica. "Hello, Veronica."
"Hey, Sheldon!" Veronica smiled, greeting him as well. Her gaze shifted to James, Kayla, and Edo, who were standing beside Sheldon. Kayla, in particular, squinted at Veronica.
"What are you looking at?!" Kayla snapped, sticking out her tongue.
Veronica smirked and casually wrapped her arms around Georgie. "Nothing…" Then, she placed a teasing kiss on Georgie's cheek in front of them.
Georgie sighed and turned to Sheldon. "Sorry I'm late," then looked at James and the others. "Thanks for bringing Sheldon here."
"...Please, this is the last time I'm taking him anywhere…" James groaned. He shot a tired look at Sheldon, the nine-year-old who had been a menace the entire trip.
"...Agreed," Edo muttered, looking equally drained.
Kayla remained silent, still glaring at Veronica.
"…Right… Sorry about that. I'll teach him some manners later," Georgie said with an apologetic smile. "You guys can head home if you want. Veronica and I will take care of the rest."
"So, we're just your chauffeurs now?" James huffed, though his tone was playful.
"No, we just want to know what you're up to," Edo added.
"Alright… Suit yourself," Georgie shrugged, leading Sheldon and Veronica into RadioShack. "Shelly, go find what you need. I'll check out something else." He handed Sheldon some cash—just a few dollars, but to Georgie, it was a small fortune.
"Alright." Sheldon walked off to look for the store clerk.
As he wandered, he suddenly spotted Meemaw arguing with the store clerk.
"Meemaw?" Sheldon called out.
"Moonpie? What are you doing here?" Connie turned to him.
"I need a modem and a computer to access thrust-to-weight ratios from the NASA FTP server," Sheldon stated matter-of-factly. Then, he glanced between Connie and the store clerk. "What are you doing, Meemaw?"
"Well… I was trying to buy you a computer, but this guy is being difficult," Connie clicked her tongue and glared at Dave, the store employee.
"…Of course, I'm being difficult when you're trying to buy this computer for half its actual price!" Dave retorted, though there was still a small smile on his face.
"Really?! Meemaw, are you really buying me a computer?!" Sheldon's eyes lit up with excitement. He turned to Dave. "...But $998 is way too much for this computer, isn't it?"
"Sheldon." Georgie's voice drew his attention. He noticed his older brother approaching alongside Veronica. When Georgie spotted Connie, he smirked.
"I knew you'd end up buying Sheldon a computer, Meemaw."
"Shut up," Connie huffed.
Veronica, who was still unfamiliar with the dynamics of Georgie's family, simply smiled and greeted Connie. "Hi, Connie."
"Veronica, girl," Connie said with a knowing look. "I knew you'd end up being Georgie's girlfriend."
Veronica blushed, unsure if Connie was approving of their relationship or just making an observation.
"You better treat this girl right… or else," Connie warned Georgie.
Georgie was about to respond when Sheldon interrupted, his voice sharp with frustration.
"…I know this computer is decent, but $998 is ridiculous!" Sheldon huffed, glaring at Dave.
"What's going on?" Georgie asked, confused about the situation.
"Sheldon wants this computer," Connie explained.
Georgie turned his attention to the ongoing debate between Sheldon and Dave. He immediately saw the problem—Sheldon, being just a kid, was at a disadvantage in negotiations.
"Sheldon's right. The Tandy 1000 SL is overpriced," Georgie remarked, eyeing the computer. "It's running on an outdated 8086 processor. Word is, Intel is about to release the Pentium—the next generation of processors."
Dave grumbled, realizing he now had another opponent in the argument.
Georgie ignored him and continued, "Even the Commodore Amiga 500 is cheaper than this, and it has a better processor."
Dave wasn't about to lose out on profit to a bunch of kids. "Young man, you can't compare the Tandy 1000 SL to the Amiga 500. Sure, the Amiga has a newer processor, but it's designed more for graphics and multimedia. The Tandy, on the other hand, is built for text-based applications and business use."
Georgie smirked and tilted his head. "Sure, if you want to keep this fossil collecting dust on your shelf, that's your choice. We're just offering to take it off your hands." He turned to Connie. "We can always go somewhere else and get a Tandy 1000 TL/2 with a better processor."
Connie didn't fully understand all the tech jargon, but she recognized what Georgie was doing—negotiating the price down.
Sheldon, however, misunderstood perfectly. Hearing Georgie argue for an even better computer than the Tandy 1000 SL made him giddy with excitement. He was too caught up in the possibility of getting superior hardware to realize Georgie was actively haggling.
Meanwhile, James, Kayla, and Edo stood by, listening in. They didn't interfere, but they were starting to think that Georgie was a total geek.
Veronica, however, was just happy to be by his side. She squeezed his hand affectionately.
"Alright, let's go," Connie finally said, preparing to leave with Sheldon.
"Wait!" Dave called out, stopping them.
Georgie leaned in toward Connie and whispered, "How much can you actually afford?" He realized he hadn't asked before jumping into the negotiation.
"…As much as you can knock off the original price," Connie murmured back, "…and wipe that smile from him.."
Georgie nodded. If it meant beating RadioShack at their own game, then for now, Dave was his opponent—and Connie was his ally.

Hey guys, I just want to ask, is this novel still interesting for y'all?
