Kevin had a call from Ron. He answered and Ron anxiously said
" Kevin, you need to come here now. Something happened "
Kevin chuckled and said in amusement.
" mmh. I'm on my way. " and ended the call. Ron felt like slapping Kevin through the phone. He wondered when Kevin would ever take things seriously. He was exactly like Maxwell. Laughing at problems and not taking them seriously. But in a way he had full trust in Kevin. He knew he could solve all kinds of huge problems in a giffy. Kevin on the other hand swiftlytook a new turn. But then his mood took a change as he suddenly thought of Linda. Although he had said those words to her, he had only wanted to scare her. Upon seeing Linda back then, Kevin had suddenly had thought
" why not leave her. There is nothing he is going to get from her answers. She might have had no reason. At that time Kevin had thought, after having his fun, he wouldn't bother Linda again, he would treat her dead. They shouldn't have met in the first place with or without her, he liked his new family and wouldn't want Linda to mess things up for her again. Perhaps, if Kevin wasn't so engrossed in his thoughts, he would have noticed a car following him.
Meanwhile not far from Kevin's car, so car was secretly and steadily following. In the car was a pregnant woman. Linda felt her heart pumping really fast. When Kevin had gotten out of her house earlier, she still felt a very familiar and fishy feeling. In order to satisfy her curiosity she sat in her car and decided to follow him. If what she was speculating was true, then Kevin would be going to his boss to tell him what had happened. He really wanted to know the person behind this but she already had her prime suspect " Maxwell ". Then she saw Kevin parking his car somewhere. She also packed hers a little further and waited for 2 minutes before impatiently calling Kevin. She had called Kevin for almost 10 times and the latter hadn't answered her call but she wasn't going to give up. On her 8th call, it was answered and Kevin strangely apologised saying he was driving. Linda was quite surprised since during the time she had been calling, Kevin wasn't driving. This only added to her suspicion and thought Kevin had deliberately not answered her calls. But Kevin's words still rang in her ears
" Linda Askew, you wouldn't get away with what you did. Even if years have come, l still have scores to settle with you and you have to answer my questions. We would meet sooner or later. Just be careful, don't die before you meet me, or I will follow you to hell"
Who would want to rely such a message to her. She only had two people in mind. It was either Maxwell or Kevin. But her mind was in a mess and despite her pregnancy she still decided to follow Kevin. Also the feeling that the man was her little brother was so strong that she knew following him could give her answers. She followed him closely making sure she wouldn't be caught.
Kevin hummed on the way feeling a bit okay. He had taken in a certain medicine which he had specifically refined beforegoing to meet Linda. That medicine had helped to stabilise his emotions. He knew he might not be able to control his emotions so he had taken the medicine hoping it would work. And it did but he could still feel the urge just that he could be able to control it this time. He continued to hum in a good mood when he suddenly thought of the problem Ron was talking about. He didn't want to be dealing with any problem when he returns so he called Ron. The call was quickly answered and Ron's voice came through the phone
" Kevin what's wrong "
Kevin answered with his usual nonchalant tone
" Tell me about the problem at your side. I don't wanna be dealing with them when I'm back. "
Ron sighed and said
" we are having some problems at the border. Three of our ships with the drugs have been trapped on the sea. They were on thier way to Miami but it seemed the police officers had a hint on our dealings and have surrounded the coast. They've even went far as to report it to the officers at the other side making them to also surround the other coast. Now we do not know where to go, both sides are dead end. We thought of throwing the drugs into the sea but, those drugs cost an arm and leg. They are also really important and are going to bring billions over billions. Spirit has greater dreams for those drugs and will kill us if we throw them away. We can't reach him and we know that once the drugs get into the hands of the government, not only would we suffer from thier wraths, but Spirit won't spare us. Kevin we are in a dilemma, they can't stay on the water for another day. What should they do. "
Kevin smirked and instead asked with a light chuckle
" Didn't you say Miami "
Ron answered with a yes and Kevin chuckled again saying
" Hahahaaa, you call thus a problem tell your men to sail the ships to Miami. "
Ron asked in disbelief
" Miami? But Miami is much more dangerous"
Kevin said nonchalantly
" Just do as I say Ron, since you were shipping those drugs to Miami then continue. let's see who dares to stop the black circle "
Ron nodded in understanding and said
" okay, I'm on it I will... "
" Sh*t "
Before he could finish, he heard Kevin cursing under his breath. He asked
" What happened Kevin "
Then he heard Kevin say
" Someone's following me. You end the call, I think I know who it is "
Ron nodded without any further questions and ended the call.
