Students rushed quickly into their entrances, hoping to be the first to reach their first monster floor. Dante and his group rushed past the surrounding students, gleaming with a teal colored mana surrounding them, it was as if the wind was lifting them with each step they took through the dungeon.
"This should keep us ahead for the time being, i'll keep it up until we reach the first monster floor!" Jarrett yelled out as the others nodded in agreement, letting their feet push them forward at an accelerated rate. Small orbs passed through the dungeon and followed the groups separately, making sure to keep an eye on each team.
"And they're off! I wonder who will reach their monster floor first in this exhilarating battle of speed and wits! Azuri's team seems to have gotten off to the fastest start with the wind magic of Jarrett from the two-star rank! Let's keep an eye out for them in the running!~" Kina said as the crowd cheered at their speed, flipping through the contestants, the sphere stopped on the crowd favorite.
"We have Rowan's team bursting forward as well! It's as if they're barely breaking a sweat with his boosts. Who will reach the monster's floor first? Only one way to find out!~"
Professor Rowan leaned forward in his makeshift seat and began to speak into his cane as well.
"Students are using their different enhancement magics to speed up the process of running into the dungeon. Causing a variety of effects not only on them, but their team as well. The most coordinated, will definitely reach the floor first, but it will only be tougher to coordinate as the walls of the dungeon only get wider as you continue on." he noted as he stared intently at the sphere, the atmosphere was hectic and the crowd's cheers were emphatic.
"Let's see what they're made of, especially the starless students that were added to the teams this year. Maybe it'll be a showing to see where they truly stack up against the best in the Academy!~" Kina yelled happily as the screen showed the many teams entering the dungeon with the anticipation building up on who'd reach the floor first.
