"There's no rush. We can investigate once we've recovered. The enemy has probably found someone with a tracking ability by now. Since they haven't made any moves yet, there's no need for us to alert them either," Ethan Wells said, shaking his head.
"Alright, then I'll hold off on investigating until we've recovered as you suggested," Mia nodded in agreement.
Lisa spoke seriously, "If the enemies below really are the Meteor Pursuit Team, dealing with them will be extremely difficult."
Mia felt a wave of concern wash over her at Lisa's words.
The Meteor Pursuit Team was undeniably powerful.
Without Ethan by her side, Mia knew she wouldn't have complete confidence in defeating even one of their members.
"If they really are the Meteor Pursuit Team, we can handle it like last time," Mia suggested after some thought. "We can eliminate their tracker first so they can't keep locating us. After that, whether we decide to escape or fight, we'll have the upper hand."
"I agree," Lisa nodded.
"That strategy makes sense," Ethan said thoughtfully. "But we've already taken down one tracker, so they'll definitely be more cautious this time."
"Of course, we still haven't confirmed whether they're actually the Meteor Pursuit Team. We should focus on recovering first before making any decisions," Ethan added, rubbing his chin.
"You're right. It's too early to make plans now," Mia agreed.
"I'll focus on replenishing my Yin Seal's Qi as quickly as possible!" Lisa declared firmly.
Both Mia and Ethan nodded in agreement.
Recovery Phase
After their brief discussion, the three of them returned to their recovery process.
While channeling their mental energy into their respective reserves, they activated "Jue" to steadily restore their depleted Nen energy.
Another day passed.
Meanwhile...
In the wilderness, a group of people sat gathered. Some were eating dry food while others kept watch.
"This is already the third day. How long are we going to keep doing this?"
"Who knows? They've been hiding in the sky this whole time, and there's nothing we can do about it," one team member muttered.
"They won't be able to hold out much longer," another replied. "Even if their Nen consumption isn't too high, food will eventually become a serious problem."
"Yeah, maybe by the time they come down, they'll be half-dead from hunger. It'll be easier for us to deal with them then!"
This group of people was, of course, the Meteor Pursuit Team.
Even though Ethan and his group had been floating along with the clouds, forcing the Meteor Pursuit Team to follow from the ground, the team remained determined not to abandon their mission.
Of course, waiting for three consecutive days — even with supply deliveries from Meteor Street — was frustrating for many of them.
Number 5, clearly agitated, angrily tossed his half-eaten dry food onto the ground in frustration.
Some team members attempted to calm him down, while others maintained their composure and patience.
Their patience had a purpose — and as some of them had mentioned, it was only a matter of time before the advantage shifted in their favor.
