The place buzzed with activity, students moving between the buffet lines and tables that each seated five.
Grey selected his meal without much thought and took a seat at one of the tables—alone.
His demeanor remained calm and indifferent as he began eating, not sparing anyone around him a glance.
"This food is quite good," Grey remarked aloud, almost absentmindedly, as he scooped a spoonful of rice into his mouth.
"Of course it is. Not the garbage you commoners are used to eating," a mocking voice said from behind.
