"Thank you, Hagrid. Just send me an owl or let me know next school year what I need to pay for the silver."
Outside Hagrid hut, Felix was thanking the giant of a man. Over the course of the year the two formed a friendship and small business trades. Felix often asked him to look out or pick up various materials found in the Forbidden Forest during his work if he happens to spot them.
"No problem." Hagrid smiled.
"Oh, also if you want something special, just ask, be it an enchanted coat, gloves or tools. I will be glad to craft something special for you." Felix said.
"Aye, but what will this cost me?" Hagrid shook his head.
Felix's eyes seemed to shift away as if being caught. Then the two just laugh, before Felix heads back up to the castle. He hopes to find his friends in the library or the common room.

After he walked into the castle, Felix found his two friends muttering as they descended a flight of stairs. He felt a bit strange upon seeing them since both wore expressions neither really expressed before. John wore an expression of immense disgust while Angel wore the superior pureblood elites that most Pureblood Supremacists tended to wear. Yet, upon seeing him, they put away those expressions the best they could but even with his poor skills he could see traces of it.
"Angel, John, weren't you two supposed to be in the library or common room?" Felix asked.
"We figured you got lost again." John answered.
"I haven't been lost in the last couple weeks." Felix huffed. "Weren't you two reviewing for the upcoming exams."
"I wanted to check on our little project." Angel said.
Felix gave a strange look at the pair of them, since the two usually just call it the Cup of Life. Even so, the two since completing it a couple weeks ago, tended to focus more on reviewing. Thus the cup usually just sits in the corner collecting time until John picks it up to return home. Since they will be making a pair of Life Cups next school year for Angel parents at the start of the year.
"Then why are you on the first floor?" Felix asked.
"Like I said we were worried you got lost again." John answered.
"Ok, then let's go to the classroom." Felix still felt a bit puzzled, but felt like investigating their strangeness.

"How do we know how much is inside?"
Looking at the silver cup, before them, John asked Felix. Since Felix is the one who came up with the idea and blueprints, he should know. While Angel also shifted her attention to him in looking for the answer. Since it's been a few weeks since they made it and the day of exams is upon them, the two seemed curious about it once more.
Felix pulled out his wand and tapped a magic circle that appeared as a clock on the side. Then a few numbers appeared floating above the cup for a few seconds. Which just showed about two weeks worth of time.
"To bring out the liquid time, just tap the sides with waves while to store the leftover, just tap empty space with lines outlining a space." Felix answered doubtfully. "Don't you guys know this from the blueprints?"
Then Felix saw both Angel and John raise a pair of wands that were not their own and sighed. Which made him realize that these two were not his friends at all. The two were probably either in the library or common room studying for the exams.
Then he felt his eyes shift focus for a moment where a foggy image appeared before him. Inside he saw the two before him shoot green lights at him. Realizing that his seer ability must have kicked in due to his life being in danger, he began to move immediately.
"Avada Kedavra!"
Two very pale green lights shot forward at him, but Felix already began to move. So the two lights missed him, while he gave the table the silver cup sat upon a kick. Which slammed into the two stomachs.
This only made the pair stumble lightly, but it was enough for Felix to fire his next spell.
"Depulso."
The table suddenly seemed hit by an incredible force causing the two to scream and drop their wands. So Felix quickly collected them, before throwing Stupidfy at them knocking both of them out. Then proceed to search both of them for any hidden weapons, wands, portkeys and so on. He didn't really do anything else, before wondering if Dumbledore was at Hogwarts.
Stepping out of the room, Felix found Severus Snape walking by with his usual gloomy and grumpy look. So he just smiled lightly at him before requesting a small favor.
"Severus, can I ask you to go find Headmaster Dumbledore or a professor if Dumbledore isn't here. I have a small issue that requires their attention immediately." Felix asked politely.
Severus Snape just clicked his tongue but sped up his walking, showing that he will do so. Hence, Felix just waited about five minutes and he saw the aged Headmaster with a couple more Professors rushing down the hall.
"What happened?" Dumbledore asked calmly.
"A pair of well prepared thieves." Felix then went on to explain the issue.
From meeting his two friends in the halls after he went to visit Hagrid for a weekly visit to see if he could prepare some more silver next school year for him. The two acting odd as they wanted to see the Cup of Life and then not knowing how it works. Before shooting the killing curse at him.

Later after the incident with the cup, Felix learned it was a pair of seventh year Slytherins who bore the dark mark on their arms. They were tasked with stealing the Cup of Life for their Dark Lord. So after getting some polyjuice potion and some of Angel and John strands of hair. They tried their luck at impersonating and robbing.
Hence now after this spread through the school quicker than a wildfire. The Cup of Life now sat in the Headmaster Office for the time being. It will then be returned to John upon exams being completed in secret.
Then time rolled forward with the First Year exam arriving. Felix wasn't going to lie, but it was very simple in his opinion. From making the pineapple dance in charms where he made it do the boogie like the time Superman disarmed a bomb with it. He basically breezed through most of the course exams except History of Magic, Potions and Transfiguration.
The History of Magic wasn't anything big nor problematic, it just wasn't interesting. So after finishing his exam, he had to wait in the exam room until time was done. Where he basically watched Lockhart in front of him write with great fanfare despite writing the wrong answer.
When it came down to the Potion exam, he just simply brewed the potion required. From cutting, pressing, and squeezing the ingredients to stirring and shifting the heat of the cauldron. Felix felt bored between steps while watching Angel complete this exam with ease while John slightly lagged behind but finished his potion near flawlessly.
Then it came, the Transfiguration exam, where Felix finally ended up struggling a bit. For he felt the exam he got was different from everyone else. Since he felt like he had another one of those annoying packets he had as homework all year. That was until it came to the practical section where Professor McGonagall watched intensely.
The hum at the end either due to the perfect transfiguration or McGonagall feeling a bit conflicted due to some reason. She seemed to struggle while putting down his score.
"Exams are done and summer vacation is here." John said excitedly.
"Yeah!" Angel cheered. "So Felix, do you want to come visit my house during the summer? It will be fun."
"Send a letter and I will ask my dad." Felix said with a yawn.
