Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 - Visiting the Potter’s

"Are you sure you don't want to move counties?"

Sitting at home, William asked a question he had asked many times before since Felix returned from Hogwarts. Due to the latest assassination attempt and more strange groups in robes hanging around their street and William's clinic. The man was basically on the edge of his seat all the time.

"Unless you want to live in South America or the southern part of Africa." Felix replied. "Australia is also an option, but recently there has been a large surge in magical creatures. Many of which hold the same danger ranking as dragons."

"Couldn't we just move to the continent or the States?" William asked. "Even Asia isn't out of the question."

"If my last name wasn't Grindelwald, we could have, but as soon as I step foot in those areas. Various troubles will come and most likely will be worse compared to now." Felix grumbled lightly. "My apparent family member caused countless trouble in most of the world, so my best option is to stay here and under the invisible cover of the Headmaster Dumbledore."

"Then should we change your last name? You always wanted to do it." William suggested.

Felix gave him a blank stare, since that option has long since sailed. It was by far too late for such an option and besides, even if there is an insane dark lord after him, he wasn't worried much. For he felt he could handle grunts of the Dark Lord unless it was the top lieutenants of the Dark Lord or the Dark Lord himself. Then he felt it would be troublesome and probably be the end of him.

"No good huh." William sighed.

"The outside might be a bit dangerous, but aren't you overreacting a bit?" Felix asked.

"I just want to keep you safe." William sighed.

"Nothing wrong with that really, but moving across the world is a bit much." Felix answered. "Besides, the madman doesn't dare to do too much when I am at Hogwarts. Well when Dumbledore is around."

Felix felt a bit weird throwing the Headmaster out once more, however, if it allowed William to calm down. Then he might as well continue doing it even if it felt a bit like a pokemon. William throws out fear, while Felix throws out the ninety year old headmaster. William is scared of dark wizards and criminals, Felix again throws out the headmaster.

"So, about going to my friend's house." Felix asked.

"Yes, yes. You should go. They will be able to guard you better than I could when it comes to magic." William nodded. "However, only go for a few days. Don't overstay your welcome and you have a couple appointments in a few days."

Felix just nodded, before writing a letter and handing it off to the owl waiting nearby. He didn't actually have an owl nor any good way to send letters. So, he began wondering if he should buy himself an owl or maybe should he find a different way to send letters.

While such ideas popped into his mind, Felix began to write as his whimsical idea actually sounded good. From making a notebook that could act like a messaging platform in the future for non-magicals. While other ideas began to roll out too such as Communication Watch like in manga (Black Clover), Den Den Mushi (Radio Snail, One Piece), multi-two way mirrors, and so on.

Soon, due to his mad writing, Felix energetic and strong turned into an all too similar pale and listless state once more. For he wrote many communications and how to make them within a journal.

--

A while later after recovering from his moment of madness, Felix received a reply from Angel. Which allowed him to feel her excitement from the letter since apparently she felt quite bored at home. It also contained a note of complaint about how her brother and Sirius Black were having the time of their lives, while Sirius ran away from home…again.

Now the two were always up to something at all hours of the day or night. Which made her annoyed since they always tend to interrupt her sleep. So it seems her father expanded their shed for the two rowdy teenagers. Much to his wife's complaint since she felt their energy liven up the house.

Seeing that they will come over tomorrow to pick him up, Angel noted her father Fleamont wanted to introduce himself to William. Felix began to pack his clothes for a couple days while telling William of it. William just nodded and clearly was a bit excited to meet another wizard that wasn't here to protect him from dark wizards.

"So what does your friend's father do for work?" William asked.

"He used to run a potion shop, but he has since retired and sold it. His wife and him had both of their children quite late in life even by magical standards." Felix answered.

William just nodded and began to clean up the place. Felix judged by how he hummed to himself, William must be excited and probably was more excited to meet the Potter's then he was to see his friend. So Felix went about cleaning up a bit too mainly to move most of his scattered journals into a box under the stairs.

"Was there a sale on journals?" Felix asked.

Under the stairs there were quite a few boxes of unused journals. Which means he won't be running out for a while, unless they weren't for him. Then he could only stare at them with longing since they won't be used to record his idea or random knowledge he notes down from caving into his desire to peek.

"That old bookstore we tended to frequent went out of business. So I got a great price on bulk buying them." William answered. "Ninety percent of them are fresh from the manufacturer and haven't graced the shelves of that shop."

Felix wasn't much surprised by the revelation since it wasn't a big shop and the owner had a wacky business sense. While it stayed afloat for quite a few years, it seemed to struggle for the most part.

--

The next day, during the morning, a loud and energetic knock appeared at the door. So Felix opened the door that revealed Angel and an older gentleman. The man held a similarity to James, so he guessed that it must be Angel's father Fleamont.

"Good morning, Felix." Angel energetically said with a smile.

"Morning." Felix yawned. "Well come on in."

Closing the door after the two entered, he found the two bit interest in the house. Their looks weren't like a wanderer or uninformed person like quite a few wizards and witches. Instead it was more like the wonders of seeing their friends house the first time.

"Sorry for the early intrusion." Fleamont apologies lightly. "As you can see, my daughter is quite excited. She couldn't stop mentioning you coming to visit since receiving your letter. Nearly drove my son and his friend bonkers."

'Is it so much Angel excitement and not because I beat them with their two other friends that one time?' Felix wondered.

After that incident, the four and Felix never really crossed paths when they could help it. Which wasn't hard for the most part since there was a four year grade gap between them. Not to mention Felix spent most of his time in the library or the classroom for experiments, while the four did whatever they did.

"No worries, we are about to have brunch. Do you care for a small sandwich?" William asked.

"No thank you, we just ate not long ago." Fleamont politely refused.

This was true since everyone at the Potter house was having a late start to their day. Which made William just nod before handing a neat and finely crafted half sandwich to Felix. While he took the other half.

"I'm not going to lie, but I thought the place will be messier with random things Felix has made." Angel said. "Then again I expect at least a tower of journals."

"Angel." Fleamont lightly chided his daughter for the slightly rude comment.

"They are under the stairs and in his room." William answered truthfully. "Felix, why don't you show your friend while I chat with this gentleman."
