099 SCAM- SODOM CITY ACADEMY OF MAGIC

Yun-Yun's expression softened, her voice turning gentle.

"Then you'll live a relatively normal life," she said. "Your demon constitution will still grant you certain benefits—strength, resilience—but it won't dominate you. It's only if you fully awaken the blood cravings and sacrifices, the demon temptations, will begin to consume you."

"No wonder my demonic strength and speed remain even after Lusifar is gone, it was due to the Black Cock after all," Leo thought.

"I'll keep training, then... but not because I'm seeking more power. I just want to protect you... well, you know... the people who matter to me." He stumbled over his words, a hint of a blush coloring his cheeks.

Yun-Yun's lips curved into a soft smile, a flicker of relief in her eyes. "I know, Leo," she said, her voice warm with unspoken gratitude.

"That's why I believe in you."

"Why do I have to go to this stupid academy? I was doing just fine in the clan!" Princess Bara protested.

"You've spent long enough avoiding formal education. It's time to get serious," Queen Gina replied firmly.

"Grangya will protect me. I don't need a school for that," Bara insisted.

"Perhaps one day, Grangya will need your protection," Yun-Yun interjected gently. "You know she dislikes using her magic."

Bara sighed. "Fine, but Leo's coming with me, he can keep me company," she said, grabbing his arm.

"Yes, Leo should go with her", Yun-Yun said.

"Why do I have to go too?" Leo asked, frowning at Yun-Yun. "I've learned plenty from you already. What can't you teach that they could?"

"There's much the academy can offer that I can't teach you—vast libraries, rare magical texts, advanced runes," Yun-Yun explained. "And more than that, it's a place to sharpen your instincts in battle against other mages especially the summoned beings."

"So, I'm just here to test my fighting skills?" Leo asked.

"Think of it that way, if you like," she replied with a nod.

"We can have much fun together, you know academy life, women?" Bara asked with saliva dripping from her mouth.

"I'm going there to study—nothing more," Leo said, pulling his arm away.

"Where's Grangya?" Bara asked, glancing around.

"She's holding the fort in Court La Mood in our absence, someone has to watch over the repairs and renovations," Kasshyek answered.

Queen Gina smiled. "Alright, off you go. Be diligent in your studies."

And so, with a mix of reluctance and curiosity, Leo and Bara set off for their first day at Sodom City Academy of Magic.

-----

Sodom City Academy of Magic was the foremost magical institution in Sodom City, renowned for educating only the most skilled young mages in the city.

Entrance required at least a Tier 1 Cakra Svad ranking or higher, placing all students firmly among the best in the realm of magical prowess in the region.

Leo and Bara entered the academy grounds, marveling at the towering campus adorned with powerful wards.

"These are the wards we will put in Court la Mood", Leo told Bara.

These protective spells safeguarded the academy against any unwelcome forces drawn by the valuable artifacts within.

"Forget those stupid wards, someone is about to speak to us", Bara said.

The first-year students soon gathered waiting anxiously for the Dean's address.

"Good morning, students. I am Dean Faschae. Welcome to Sodom City Academy of Magic," he announced. "Before we assign you to classes, we will test each of you to determine your level of proficiency."

The students muttered their complaints, unsettled by the idea of being tested immediately on the first day of school.

"What? We haven't even had one class yet. What could they possibly test?"

"They're just sorting us by talent."

"Separating the geniuses from the slackers," another grumbled.

Dean Faschae continued, "The test is straightforward: each of you will stand under the Academy's Bell of Aptitude. The bell will ring to reveal your magical potential."

The massive Bell of Aptitude loomed over the academy entrance, able to measure a student's latent talent simply by their presence beneath it.

The first student approached. "Kameen from the Hulla family."

As Kameen stepped beneath the bell, a pulse of energy weighed down on him, forcing him to one knee. The bell rang twice.

Tannggg Tannggg

"Two rings for Kameen. Next student," the dean announced.

Bara turned to Leo. "Are you really going to stand under this ridiculous bell?"

Leo shrugged. "Looks like we don't have a fucking choice."

When her name was called, Bara strode up to the Bell of Aptitude, exuding confidence. "Bara from the Amara clan."

Tannggg… Tannggg… Tannggg.

"Three rings for Bara. Next student."

The tests continued as more students approached the bell.

"Yoshi from the Foo Mountains" – three rings.

"Ryton from Crest Valley" – four rings.

"Tostig from the Annuman family" – three rings.

The murmurs in the crowd grew as the next student stepped forward.

"Wait, is that really her? The genius of Sodom City? Heir to the Lotus family. President of the Student Association of her previous school. I can't believe she's here in our academy."

"She's stunning—like an angel."

"Petunia from the Lotus Family."

Petunia had long, flowing red hair that cascaded over her shoulders, framing her large, shining eyes and strikingly appealing features.

Her figure was slim yet well-proportioned, with graceful, long legs that added to her natural elegance. She wore a delicate lace dress adorned with floral patterns, radiating an aura of innocence and quiet beauty.

Petunia moved toward the bell with deliberate grace, each step smooth and practiced. It was as if she moved in harmony with the magic that surrounded her, attuned to its rhythm.

Standing beneath the Bell of Aptitude, she showed no sign of strain under its powerful energy. After a moment, she took another step forward, and the bell began to ring.

Tannggg… Tannggg… Tannggg… Tannggg… Tannggg… Tannggg.

The bell rang six times, sending a ripple of admiration through the crowd.

"She's not just a genius—she's like a goddess," someone murmured in awe.
