"We did it!" Eye groaned, he rejoiced.
They were finally about to get rid of that Lost who refused to be eaten! Eye was looking forward to a big meal, he was already imagining it.
Then he fainted. The spirituality use has just been too much; He was on the brink of death.
If they hadn't killed the Lost fast enough, he would be the one to have been eaten.
And Eye didn't mind that. Things needed to eat, and he needed to eat, it's only a matter of time till he got eaten.
Eye felt relaxed, time continued to flow by. And he would continue to live within it.
"Eye!" Emma shouted towards the fainted silver haired fellow, shaking him with all of her strength.
"Wha~?" Eye had awoken with a drool rolling down his face.
To Eye's surprise, they were still amidst the thick forest. "We have to get out, it is too dangerous to sleep here!"
"We won right?" Eye asked Emma, while getting up from the ground.
Emma followed, "Yeah, I hadn't expected this Lost to be so strong." Emma responded, her voice had sounded a bit weary.
"Then let's have some lunch!" Eye shouted, heading towards the gigantic Lost with, bulging muscles that made Eye look like he was a gym newbie.
"Why did we have to kill it?" Emma suddenly asked. "We could've just let it be, if you hadn't messed with its kid, it'd probably still be alive."
"I did it to train you, there are Lost Emma, there's nothing cool about them, except for the fact they're delicious. They would never spare a fresh, edible, and amazing Spirit like me because they felt like being kind."
"Lost WOULD want to kill us, so we kill them, " is what those hypocrites say. All they want to do is sell its flesh and make a profit. They would never admit that they don't care if Lost attacked them or not."
"I wanted them dead because I was hungry and I'm supposed to train you. it would eat me to survive too, and there's nothing wrong with that. That's just how things go." Eye proclaimed, he tried his best to reassure this girl.
Throughout his 120 years of life he knows that some people are just too sympathetic; they would come up with lies to deceive themselves on why they would do things they did. Those types of people found their true selves to be disgusting.
Those types of people are untrue to themselves.
Eye had made a promise to when he was in his young 50s, he would never lie to himself again, he would always do whatever he finds to be just.
Besides, how could you be truly just without being your true self! It's simply impossible.
"But wouldn't that mean they wanted to live? Whatever! I have to kill these things to become stronger anyways, so I'll do just that! They eat so shall I! I'll eat you all to resurrect Luna!" Emma said to herself. She had to remind herself why she was doing this.
She was a monster already. It's not her fault that these Lost became monsters too. Emma had to kill these things to not become
"I nearly forgot to ask. What is your Gift exactly? Do you already know how to feed it?"
"I can change my shape to whatever that I know the height, weight, and character of. And yes, I know how to feed my Gift." Emma responded in a solemn voice.
"That's half of what I'm supposed to do already! Now let's experiment with your Gift for a bit. After we get out of here first though." Eye replied in a joyful tone. He started to like this newbie for making it so easy for him!

The entire day went by, Emma was exhausted, laying down in a yellow grass, the walls shadow had covered her from the heat of the two suns creating a blissful shade.
Emma and Eye tested all that she could do.
She even learned a few things, for example she could change into any object she wanted to, even if it didn't have a character. She simply had to know how it worked, and how much it weighed.
Emma even gained some new forms to use!
The pale humanoid monster was one of them, she had fought it enough to understand some of its character. For weight, Eye brought out a scale from the building, the first thing she learned from this world that wasn't in Kushtaka's memories was their unit of weight.
It was even more odd than the American one! She also knew the pale Lost was at least as tall as the wall here.
Right now Emma was ginormous pale Lost, but she was at least half as tall as the wall.
"Could it be you just don't know it enough?" Eye asked with envious look.
"It might be," Emma said in her own voice but in a distorted tone.
"Would you mind being my sidekick?" Eye asked out of the blue. "Having a Lost fight for you would look so cool."
Emma had pretended not to hear that, and returned back to her original form. She really didn't think she had time for that kind of stuff.
"What's next?" Emma said with a sigh, she preferred if she hadn't turned into that Lost, it was simply to.. Overwhelming to her.
She could feel the strength just gushing in her. And she was only half as strong as it was before. How did she even win against it?
"Wait! My agony! I didn't answer well before. It ate its child because…" Emma thought to herself, desperately searching for an answer.
"We-"
"Do you know why that Lost ate that small version of itself?" Emma suddenly asked, interrupting Eye.
"It's probably its Gift. Maybe eating its child would make it stronger, you saw the way it bulged up after eating it." Eye answered a bit worried why she was asking.
"Thanks!" Emma replied happily. That made perfect sense! No wonder why it ate its child, because it wasn't actually a child! It's just a gift. But why did it care to save it then?
Emma had not known, but she couldn't let this drag her down. Her eyes were dead focused on her goal.
This world could never change that! It was merely a step she had to take to her goal!
She was like an ice cube who had turned into a drop of water
Challenges might have made her realize her goal, but it would never take it away from her.
She would continue to flow towards her goal. She would eventually reach it.
And by then she would become a river! She would become an ocean!
