"Lacie, wake up... please... Lacie... oh god. Oh god..." Mila held her sister's hand tightly, though her whole body was trembling with fear, and it had to do with her sister's entire body covered with blood.
"Oh please... I'm sorry, let's go back home now... wake up... what did I do?" Mila bawled, looking around inside the ambulance for help.
"Please help my sister wake up, she's bleeding."
Once the car got to the hospital, Lacie was moved down and Mila followed, running with just one of her shoes, while the other one she had lost while running to the place Lacie's car had crashed.
Mila couldn't believe it when she saw her sister covered in blood, with broken glass piercing her skin and a pole just a breath away from cutting through her. It was so scary that Mila got reminded of herself, two years ago, rolling down the stairs, a memory she didn't wish to relive.
