"You're not going to send Jaime to prison, not on my watch." Alvaro stopped Zyran from entering further inside the house.
Zyran rubbed his brows and sighed, his hands resting on his waist. "He tried to kill someone, attempted murder on Mila's sister! He has to go in for it."
"He's already been punished enough, poor boy. Spending years in prison, has some humiliating device on his ankle. Now lost everything with his father and mother locked away in different kinds of prison." Alvaro walked towards the pillar and stood with his hands behind him.
"You'll have to step over me to take him."
Zyran licked his lips and smiled, "You're joking, right? Aren't you, Alvaro? If you keep him here and the police come, you'll be an accomplice. Let me take him away quietly."
"Quietly?!" Alvaro hit the wall. "Less than a month, I have people connected to me behind bars! Behind bars! It's a taint on my image. I can't have that anymore. Jaime made a silly mistake, I'll punish him myself."
